Reviews for Ruby Slipper Cafe in New Orleans, LA
This place was a gem. Their food was amazingly delicious. I had the Eggs Cochon Bennie, it was like heaven. The egg was made to... perfection. It was poached so well when I poke my fork into the yoke, it smothered all over the slow cooked apple braised pork. The bloody Marys was not so bad as well. Read more

This ruby slipper cafe was a little hard to find, but once you leave the parking lot, the outdoor experience and amazing amount... of seating and decorations made us feel welcome. We had a bigger group and we got a great table and our server was beyond sweetand hilarious. After the meal, our server went out of their way during the rush to give us recommendations about the city. Woulddefinitely come to this location compared to the ones in the city center as the wait time was greatly reduced! Read more

YUM! All of the dishes here have a great Cajun twist on traditional breakfast items. The cocktails are half off for their... morning Happy Hour(open to 10am I believe). We loved everything we ordered which was a lot. We got two cocktails(which were $5instead of $10 each), 3 appetizers, and 1 entree that we split. It was $60 total. Well worth it! Our server was also very fastand friendly! So enjoyable and super glad we stopped in! Thank you! Read more
Definitely a must try brunch spot. This place was recommended to us by a friend of mine and it did not disappoint. We had the... Trifecta and the Sweet Heat Chicken with French Toast Bites, both are worth a try. But let me tell you, that Sweet Heat Chickenwith French Toast Bites is definitely the must of the two. Everything in that dish compliments each other so well and hasdelicious flavor. Waitress was on point. We will keep this spot on our list for us to stop by when we visit New Orleans again. Read more
Ruby slipper is definitely the best brunch spot in NOLA! Whether local or visiting there is something for someone. It is... specifically brunch and closes at 2pm on weekdays and 3 pm on weekends (holidays vary). The staff is always friendly andaccommodating, weekends can have between 45-1hr wait to be prepared. I usually always get the shrimp and grits that come loadedwith no-tail shrimp! My favorite appetizer is the fried green tomatoes with romoulade sauce.
