My favorite bar to visit when in New Orleans! The staff is always super friendly, they have good quality drinks, and the outside... alley seating makes for a great atmosphere! There?s a nice mix of locals and tourists that seem to frequent the bar; making itmuch more enjoyable than the drunken touristy Bourbon Street bars. You can hear live music coming from the Quarter but it is notoverly loud and you can still carry on conversations in peace. Read more

We were on a tour and they brought us to the us location for drinks and bathroom break. They have a lot of specialty drinks. We... tried a few. There was only one bathroom so be prepared for a line. Also, it was only Cash Only! They do have an ATM locatedinside the bar. That was the only inconvenience for us. They do have several seating available outside. Read more

Really cool little place that is in the alley right over by Jackson Square. I may not even of known of this place if I didn't... take the tour since it is off to the side. Glad they showed us this place and aloud us to stop and grab a drink during our tour.It for sure is unique and I definitely recommend you stop there if in the area! Read more

Stopped here for a quick soft drink and bathroom break later in the evening. The location was convenient and the bar had fun... pirate-themed styling (including a large compass on the celling!) Read more

The absinthe experience was great! Good recommendations from staff. True water drip process. ... First timer with this spirit.... More of a sipper... Staff was nice, but no pirate people today. Lots of seating outside in a quiet alley. Lots of night tourscome through here, so it may get a little busier then Read more

Everytime I visit New Orleans I must stop by this bar at least twice because it truly is my favorite spot! It can be a peaceful... quiet area despite it's location and the drinks are strong and tasty. I love getting the Death in the Afternoon drink for two. Read more

What a fun place to stop when you visit Pirate's Alley. Small, quant, open air type of bar. Drinks are quick and satisfying,... bartenders are friendly and helpful with local suggestions for tourist. If you're up for the main attraction order off theabsinthe menu. We did the Jade 1901 and came back a second night and tried the Absente. Both trips well worth it. Read more

Pirate?s Alley Cafe & Olde Absinthe House is one our favorites as a last stop for the night. Love the location of this place, a... little corner cafe in a dark alley. It?s perfect for a late night drink, with a few outdoor tables to rest your self after anevening of walking the Quarter. The absinthe is great and the staff is always friendly. And you never know who you?ll see. Ozzy(impersonator) stopped by our table for a few photos last time we were here. Read more
