I so wanted to like this place because I miss good Vietnamese food. Unfortunately, on my visit at lunch, the food was lacking.... The folks working were wonderful, though. I felt very appreciated as a customer. I ordered the BUN CHA GIO THIT NUONG. TheImperial rolls were fried in a rancid tasting oil. And the wrapping was heavy, not light & crispy. The grilled pork had a goodflavor, but was served at room temperature and was chewy and dry. I took most of the food home with me, and when I reheated thepork, it was moist and had a good texture. There were only a few cilantro leaves in the salad. No mint, basil, or jalapeno. Iparticularly missed the fresh aspect of herbs that I so associate with Vietnamese food from Hanoi. I hope they can improve thequality of the preparation. The ingredients were certainly fresh and tasty. Read more

Tasty Vietnamese Food near the Tulane Medical School. I got CM 1- Com Ga Roti, and it was delicious!

Pho was good, nothing super special about it, not a lot of brisket, one of them was entirely fat, and a little overpriced.

Delicious food, get a signature dish that comes with their House special honey mustard sauce! You won't regret it.

I needed a pho fix after a week of eating delicious Southern food and this place hit the mark. It's all about the broth, right?... This place definitely has delicious broth with great aromatics and that silky bone broth feel. Service was friendly and quick.Serving size was good. I just wish that tripe could have been available. The owner (Ken?) explained that there wasn't muchdemand for it in this location and he didn't want to compromise with frozen tripe. There are pho-ing standards! Read more

Food was excellent. I haven?t tried Vietnamese food in Vietnam, but I have tried quite a bit of it in different countries. Spoke... to the owner for those of you wondering, he was born in Vietnam and it is his first language (despite the fact that he doesn?tlook Vietnamese). This started as a family business and the menu hasn?t changed in 4 decades. It?s a simple and unpretentiousplace but the food is excellent, authentic and fair prices to match. You?ll see medical students and other healthcareprofessionals here because it is right next to Tulane University and medical center. This is a local joint, definitelyrecommend! Read more

Came here during our Nola visit after a recommendation from a food writer. Did not disappoint! The bún bò Hu? was perfect,... with chewy thick rice noodles. I was happy they had a salty plum beverage! Service was fast and friendly. Read more

This place could be good for anyone who can?t cook VN food at all, or hasn?t tried real VN food. Looks like their regulars are... students and faculties at the nearby medicine college, or office staff who likes convenient food at reasonable price. The coffeeis also disappointing. I don?t recommend this place for tourists. Read more
