Reviews for Parkway Bakery & Tavern in New Orleans, LA
Po boys were delicious! Top notch food in NOLA - the gulf shrimp was a must have. Would go back again next time we visit
Tried both the Oyster and BBQ Shrimp Po-Boys. Got my shrimp with added beef gravy and MOMMA!!! We had previously seen a video... with Parkway featured so when we noticed we were nearby we immediately drove over. We got there before the lunch rush and gotour food quickly. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available as well. The oysters were so tender and flavorfulwhich is a great sign of their freshness. The fresh shrimp were so well seasoned and the batter clung very well. Bothsandwiches were overstuffed and we had plenty of oysters and shrimp to enjoy after the sandwich was gone. We'll be back, guaranteed!! Read more
Wow! We loved this place! I got the classic roast beef and gravy and my partner got the surf and turf, so great! Better than any... poboy in the quarter. The history is awesome to read about as you wait for your food. Lots of parking too if you need to drive.Definitely recommend. Read more
I have to say hands down this is the best poboy shop in New Orleans. Great atmosphere, fantastic food. I love hot poboys and... places I have been to microwave to heat the food up which makes the food dry. Here they will grill what ever you want heated andportions are plentiful. Read more

Restaurant access is near the patio outside and bakery connected to restaurant. Brett P. Waited on usfrom the Bar and we ate under the patio with tons of shade. Clean and the bathrooms were clean too. No water around sinksbecause someone was actively tending to it. Overall great service. Friendly staff. Clean place. Easy parking. Best of all DogFriendly. Oh yes and this place has been around since 1911. Very historical. We loved our NOLA IPA, bloody Mary, and JamesBrown sandwich. We each got a large but ate the first half before taking the pic. Bread was phenomenal. We actually came to NOLAspecifically to visit this restaurant. Read more
