Food and coffee was good however, service was very slow and staff seemed not to care. This is prob bc a 20% tip is tacked on to... on ANY order ? Which means the prices shown are not what you will pay even on a to go order. A bit of false advertisement ifyou ask me. If you want to pay staff more, raise prices dont bait and switch with a mandatory tip. Read more

I ordered a latte, they gave me an iced coffee with milk. When I tried to return it, they said they already broke down the... espresso machine. Why not just tell me that when I ordered? They expected me to just take it and keep my mouth shut. I have alot of anxiety, so that plus the weird intercom ordering system (seemingly just so they can keep the doors closed to have ACworking optimally, because that is a new thing they never did before during covid) made me feel unvalued. I've rarely had anorder made correctly. Tacos ordered vegan usually come containing eggs, bacon, or cheese, after taking forever. When they arecorrect they are runny and bland. No sense of good service or quality assurance here. Seems like they just want to take yourmoney and rush home. Read more

Excellent choice for a quick, cheap breakfast or brunch if you're in the neighborhood. The breakfast tacos are cheap, tasty, and... filling, but they have a wide selection of options including vegan donuts, various pastries, sandwiches, and coffees as well asmore unusual options like chia pudding and mango lassis. Spoiled by all the breakfast tacos back home in California but the tacos with a sausage roll is soooooo good. Great puff pastry,... and fun patio. Read more

Go-to neighborhood hangout. They have only outdoor seating since the pandemic started, with a subway style ordering window. It's... mostly ok, given the May weather. The nice staff makes ordering a joy. Fresh pastries and a good variety of inventive drinksmake things interesting. The people are the draw, as folks meet and greet at the tables and in front. Very fun to experience. Read more

Cute lil spot with healthy and delicious options. Of course, the guava cheese puff was sold out by the time I got there. Prices... are reasonable and portions are satisfying. The masala chai was quite yummy. The seating is spacious with enough social distanceto relax and eat in a shaded airy outdoor space. The savory kale pastry with red sauce was hearty and good, though I would spiceit up a bit. Definitely need to come back for the guava puffs! Read more

Pagoda Cafe has been on my list as a place to visit for several years. I was just never near the location during their opening... hours. Apparently, it?s not been long since they reopened post pandemic. You order at the window and when your order is ready, they bring the food to a particular table and call your name. All seating is outdoor. I particularly enjoyed the mango lassi andthe guava cream cheese puffs; although, I was puzzled as to why they called them ?puffs? when there was only one. I wish therewould have been something me mention that the sweet potato, mushroom and brown rice turnover was spicy, because nothing led meto that conclusion when I ordered the item. Some may have found the spiciness a pleasant surprise, but I didn?t. I found bothturnovers lacking in flakiness, good, but not excellent. Read more
