I have been a passionate connoisseur of Japanese food for over 20 years. Origami is a fusion of westernized Japanese cuisine... that does not sacrifice too much of the authentic flavors and brings quality ingredients and generous portions. Take a look atsome of my photos - the slices of fish are nice and thick and not overwhelmed by filler. The food quality and presentation was excellent. Service is slow as they only have one waitress. Definitely not her fault... since she has to take care of customers inside and outside and has to take your order down manually and then type it into thekiosk in the back which doubles her work load and slows her down more. Great specials here. Fresh fish you won't find most places. They have actual Wasabi! Friendly chefs with great presentations.

Oysters are in season and we enjoyed the raw oysters today on the beautiful plate in the picture! This is by far the best sushi... in New Orleans!
