My family is of Middle Eastern decent. I've tried Middle Eastern food in many different countries but this shakshuka was... probably the best. Hummus was good too. Vegetables were super fresh! The price for such a huge meal was extremely good as well(best bang for your buck in New Orleans for sure!). If you like Middle Eastern cuisine, stop looking, this is THE place. Read more

Olive has the best Mediterranean food I've had. Everything made from scratch with fresh ingredients. They also have the best... hummus. The rating still doesn't do it justice. You cannot go wrong here. This time I got the shakshuka. The desserts are alsolight and insanely delicious! Olive is a must-visit in New Orleans! Read more

First of all?.. the owner (I assumed he was) was such a nice man with us, really polite and friendly. The food really good, we... loved all we ordered, had no issues at all, as a vegetarian has variety of options and have outside tables too. Sadly was ourlast night at NOLA but totally without a doubt would come here again. Worth it 100%. Read more

A great vegetarian meal! The hummus was wonderfully creamy and the zater bread was spiced and oiled to perfection. Would... definitely recommend for anyone who is vegetarian or vegan. Their meat options also looked tasty. The staff was very friendlyand helpful! Read more

Had an amazing lamb burger along with another amazing chicken and lamb dish that included an eggplant infused side. The bread... was super fresh. Also had traditional middle eastern tea that included rose water. The owner operators have great rapport withcustomers and are a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend this convenient restaurant. Olive is a great place for vegetarians like me. They have a tasty variety for meatless meals and also a relaxed comforting... dinning area. Nothing super fancy but very grounded and I really enjoyed my dinner here. Sadly there is no Wi-Fi for customers.Maybe that comes next but thanks for the nice Vegetarian Platter. Read more

We almost didn't come here because, who eats Mediterranean food in New Orleans? But the reviews sold it to us and boy am I glad... we did. Their Kufta, the reason why you should go there, is one of its kind and just incredible. Their silky smooth Hummus workswith everything. I had the Shakshouka which got the tomatoes part right, but the eggs were overcooked and solid on the inside, when they should have been runny. Otherwise, the fried cheese was so good, the hummus and feta was so good too, and GOD the homebaked pita bread was just perfect. Great service considering it was only one server running the whole deal from pickups, servingtables and running the cash register. I must say the Mango juice tasted artificial, like it came from a box or a mix. Not freshso steer away from that. The ice tea was meh too compared to most other restaurants in town, especially the way they sweetenedit. That said, we had a hearty yet healthy brunch and were glad this was our last meal in New Orleans! Read more
