This Restaurant is located on Bourbon St. A great spot for evening and late night eats- as they close at 1am. Upon arrival you... have to wait for the Hostess/Host to seat you. The place is popular. We arrived at 9pm and our weight time was less than 5minutes to be seated. The food and drink menu has a decent amount of choices to choose from and the prices are competitive. Weordered the seafood platter and gator bites. Both were good . thank you Nola Read more

First timer and everything was amazing! We arrived around 12:00 PM and the place was packed. We had about a 10-16 min wait which... was not back. We ordered the Chicken & Gumbo, Seafood Gumbo, Half Dozen Fried Oysters, Red Beans & Rice with Fried Catfish, andfor dessert Bread Pudding. We were pleasantly pleased with the food, server, and setting while eating in the restaurant. TheBread Pudding that was ordered to go was subpar because the bottom was visibly overcooked and it had a slightly burnt taste.Otherwise, our initial visit was great! UPDATE: went back since the food was that good. This time it was a Friday night and itwas almost 9:00PM when we were seated, the place was jam packed. Note: there was a long line and about a 30-40 minute wait to beseated. Unfortunately, the food, presentation, nor service were as good as it was during lunch hours. The Red Beans and Rice andCatfish were the only saving grace for that night time experience. Read more

Sister and I stopped in Louisiana just to try a meal. After reviews we chose this place. It was a wait but the food did not... disappoint!!!! The place is a little crowded and loud. Our waiter was a young man and he was obviously super busy but he wasextremely nice and did a great job. The pasta my sister ordered , Lord!!, it was seasoned so well the whole plate was justbomb!! My meal was good but I swear I kept wanting to bite off her plate!! We would definitely visit this place again . Give ita try. Read more

Located on Bourbon Street. Had to wait in about an hour to get inside on a Saturday night. The drinks were pretty pricey for the... taste of no alcohol. They were super sweet my friend didn't like them. And I was on the edge of not liking them. The food wasmediocre compared to the restaurant rice and roux in baton rouge. We got the same exact meal. And they were lacking the flavorthat the rice and roux restaurant was offering. Read more

Must get the gator bites. I got them half fried and half blackened. Liked the blackened better but would recommend to get them... half and half. The loaded cajan fries were good too. The sauce was so tasty. Atmosphere was great, service was great, and foodwas amazing. Must eat here for New Orleans style food. Read more

I liked the place, the waiter was really nice. Maybe to noise and cold inside. I ordered crab meat cake and pudding. The crab... meat was tasty at the beginning but once I continued eating I was feeling bored. I liked the spices as well as the mushroomsource but at the end I think that it was overwhelming. In the case of the pudding, if Im honest it was to die for it. Sweeterthan I'm used to but really delicious. The Bourbon syrup was more than incredible. Read more

Legitimately the BEST collard greens I've ever had and they have a dedicated gluten free menu! Went here on 2/4/2022 after... checking into our hotel around the corner. This place was super busy so we put our name down on the list. We probably waitedabout 15 minutes for a seat which is whatever for a Friday night in the French Quarter. They have a dedicated gluten free menuso I chose the $26 crab cakes which came with mashed potatoes and collard greens. Legitimately 10/10 collard greens, while thecrab cakes were fine but a little small for the price. My husband had an $11 bowl of gumbo that came with a roll and a $16chicken po'boy sandwich. Every single day my husband asked if I wanted to go back to this restaurant. I did, but I also wantedto try other places simply because it was my first time in New Orleans. This is a definite place I'll revisit on our next tripto the French Quarter. Read more

They are open tillvery late - one of the few. Tip is included in the bill Read more
