Love Nonnos for a couple of reasons. To start, the seafood eggrolls! I love when we are surprised by an innovated spin on local... cuisine and these eggrolls did not disappoint! Such an awesome experience! We were driving through New Orleans via I-10 and decided to stop for some Po ?boy sandwiches as I... hadn?t had one before. Food was great but really it was the owner and staff that made it such a great experience. They allchecked on us, had such pleasant attitudes and seemed genuinely interested in what was going on with us. Would 100% come back tosee them next time I?m in town. Parking is street parking but we had no problem with it even with a 16ft moving truck. Music isR&B/Jazz vibes and I was just bobbing along to the music while drinking my slushy. So good! Read more

This black owned business is a diamond in the rough. The food was excellent. High quality fresh shrimp on my poboy. We were looking around for something quick to eat and stumbled upon this gem. The food was hot, fresh and so flavorful. We had... the seafood egg rolls which are some of the best I?ve ever had. For my lunch I had the French toast and chicken. The Frenchtoast on the French bread *chefs kiss* was some of the best I?ve ever had in my life. We... also ordered a shrimp po boy which was delicious from the batter on the shrimp to the bread roll it was served on and the shrimpburrito which was seasoned to perfection! Absolutely fantastic, one of the best meals we had while in Nola for 4 days. The shrimp and grits were other worldly, amazingly... seasoned and cooked. I?d like to start by saying the owner is a great guy! I met him personally and he?s the epitome of New Orleans. For that reason... alone we will be back (although the food was quite tasty).
