DO NOT EAT HERE...Seriously!!! The food is awful. I should have walked out the moment I noticed that Cafe Degal (next door) was... packed but, not one person was in Nonna Mia. Produce used was on the verge of rotten. I could hear the use of the microwaveslamming in the kitchen. There are three excellent restaurants steps away from this one that will not disappoint. Terrible experience. Poor customer service and the food was not good. Ordered a pizza and it was bland and thinner than... cardboard. Not only that, but our entire receipt was wrong with inflated prices. It felt like they were trying to not have usnotice and charge us more. Worst food I’ve had in New Orleans! Read more

We recently visited from Indiana and New York, and this place was fantastic. We ate there one night, and decided with all of our... choices that we’d go back a second. The staff is welcoming, and personable - but more importantly the food is amazing! If youlike pasta with homemade sauce, and perfectly crispy pizza, this place is for you! Read more

At first I was a little put off by the style. We walked out the first time because you had to order at the bar, off a... handwritten note with some menu items on it. And you had to get your beer elsewhere. Wait, what? But after doing it anywaysbecause the staff was really nice, we decided to get some beer at the nearby store and order a pizza. The draw was the fantasticpatio, where we enjoyed the (ok) Pizza while watching the hundreds of people streaming past, on their way home from the JazzFest. Beet salad with spinach and goat cheese: Ok, with a few small crumbs of goat cheese Spicy shrimp pizza: ok, with four tinyshrimp found - a bit scrooge it seemed. Read more

Pizza was excellent. The pasta was pretty good, but my favorite was their house made pesto.
