The first time I ordered from this restaurant I ordered the Sicilian pizza which is really good fresh not so good when reheated... as leftovers. The second time I ordered I ordered lasagna pizza but received a very thin pizza with sausage and pepperoni withno ricotta. I only ordered from this restaurant because of the 25% discount on GrubHub. This place is great. I first went because it?s right next to my favorite bar, The Allways Lounge. I saw a show and got a slice... of pizza and a scoop of gelato after. Honestly, I loved both. Now, whenever I want a pepperoni pizza for any occasion, I?llorder a whole pie from Nola Mia. Read more
I really really wanted to love this place as a person who is lactose intolerant and one of my favorite foods is pizza. The... option of having vegan cheese is awesome and I wish more places would do this. Sadly I ordered two pizzas (one vegan cheese andone not) and both tasted like bread with toppings on it. Honestly I wouldn't even consider this pizza, there was not cheesecovering the whole pizza for either pizza and barely any sauce. The size of the pizza is really nice but personally I feel I'drather a smaller more quality pizza for the same price. The owner and staff were very nice so they have that going for them. The Capish Panini is divine. The pizza slices are large and filling. Homemade gelato that is not too sweet, but very... flavorful. And as a bonus they feature artwork from local artists that you can purchase. Read more
So I love the Sicilian pizza here... Hands down the best in Nola. I would also in small voice say that their Gelato beats... Broccatos although Broccatos does have amazing cannoli and little fig cookies that I adore. Their thin crust pizza is good butnot my favorite in the city.
