Quick and friendly service. The food and drink were amazing! The shrimp creole and pecan crusted redfish are still making my... mouth water the next day. Oh and the crab cake was damn good! Beautiful outside ambience. They had heaters going because it wasa cooler night. Reservation on open table was really easy. We got there 15 minutes early and they sat us down right away still.Amazing experience! Read more

Fantastic oyster Happy Hour at the bar! This place is away from the bourbon ST but within walking distance from there. We've... been here a few times before & after covid. Food & service is great. My husband doesn't like seafood but enjoys the char broiloysters here. The chef is awesome. He taught us how to pick good quality oysters, open them, char broil & eat raw. Sometimesit's busy & you need a reservation. There is a nice court yard with outdoor dining, in door area & a bar. Read more

We enjoyed sitting outside on a nice evening. Our server, John, was great. The cocktails were delicious. (We had a Bacon Bloody... Mary and a Lafitte's Original Hurricane.) 2 of us had the Creole Pasta which was absolutely wonderful and the other had the crabcake and some charbroiled oysters that they said were amazing! They were out of the bananas foster cheesecake so we had thechocolate/peanut butter torte that was very good. Read more

The food is amazing and authentic Creole style cooking. Our service was fantastic and the restaurant was clean. The Gumbo was... incredible! The seasonings they use here are very traditional to the culture. There is a fountain in the courtyard and outdoorlights for evening dining. The ambiance is exceptional. Be prepared for an amazing dining experience. Read more

The food was very good, some better than the other, the Steak was very good as was the Creole red beans and rice, the green... beans and potatoes were just ok, like a plate filler. Cheesecake was very good.the restaurant is very beautiful. Our overalldining experience was pleasant but it took almost 3 hours for us to finish dinner, and we didn't have to wait upon arrival, wewere seated immediately, it just took the restaurant that long to get our order and get food out and check. Staff was nice andapologized for the wait. Read more

We got to New Orleans Creole Cookery early in the afternoon so we were able to avoid a line. We ordered their jambalaya... appetizer along with the red beans and rice. They were the best we've had in New Orleans! Perfect seasoned, saucy! We alsoordered dessert the peanut butter and chocolate cake and the banana fosters cheesecake. Both were super yummy! Unfortunately, the bananas foster cheese didn't taste like banana anything - it was creamy and delicious, but no banana flavor. We woulddefinitely recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone who visits NOLA. Read more

This restaurant was recommended by hotel. Without reservations, we had to sit in bar, were warned they were short-staffed and to... be patient. Great atmosphere, batender/waitress most pleasant. Food was divine. Got a desert "on the house" because of ourpatience. It was worth the wait! Had we been seated in courtyard or dining room with full staff, i would give this a 5-star! Read more

I don't know what was better, the food or the service! Within walking distance from our hotel, which was nice. The atmosphere... was relaxing and beautiful. Our server was Chris and he was such a delight!! He was fast, funny, charming and very kind. The redbeans and rice (not pictured) were AMAZING!! If I could've eaten a bucket of that dish I would have! Will definitely be eatinghere again! Read more
