I?m not sure what happened, but this place has gone majorly downhill in the last few months. I live in the neighborhood and this... was one of my favorite spots. Then a little bit ago they changed the menu (including getting rid of some of my favorite items),and since then it?s been a huge disappointment. The pizza is usually undercooked and just generally unremarkable. Used to besome of the best pizza in New Orleans, now is probably more akin to what you?d get on Bourbon Street. Make sure you read themore recent reviews because any from more than a couple months ago are no longer accurate. Read more

Arrived to pick up my pizza only to be told that they did not have pepperoni tonight (what pizza place runs out of pepperoni?)... and that because I ordered online through Chownow on their web site, they had no way to communicate with me. I asked that theyswitch it to sausage and sat down to wait for the pizza. I waited 30 minutes with no acknowledgment or update from the staff, soI finally asked how much longer it would be. I was told "let me check" then nothing for another 10 minutes before I was toldthat the pizza was being boxed up but that they hadn't put the mozzarella sticks in yet. I received the pizza then continued towait for the mozzarella sticks, only to see her hand me a box that had been sitting on the counter for at least 10 minutes. Allin I sat and waited for 45 minutes, only to get home and find that the both the pizza and mozzarella sticks were cold and bothhad definitely been sitting for some time. On top of the poor service and handling of the situation, the food was below theusual standard of Mid City Pizza. Flour on the bottom as if it had just been pulled from a bag of flour, to the point thatflour was the most prominent taste. Disappointed to see this place going downhill as we had been fans and ordered from hereregularly. Read more

This was my second time giving them a shot and unfortunately was disappointed yet again. I order 2 pizzas and chicken wings... online and was told they're be ready in an hour. I arrived after an hour and ultimately had to wait ANOTHER hour to finally getthe pizza. It was an extremely busy night for them so somewhat excusable, but then the food turned out to be terrible. The wingswere soggy even though the sauce was given on the side and the pizza was severely undercooked and barely had any sauce. I meanthe veggies were raw and the crust was blonde. I ended up putting slices into my oven at home on 500 degrees to salvage them.Bummer because I really wanted to like them this second time. Much better options in town though so likely won't be back. Cool, funky neighborhood bistro. If you?re going to order a pizza anywhere you should get it here. The crust and the toppings... are perfect. I?m a huge fan of the thin crust pizza. I had the Caprese salad and it was loaded with extra slices of basil. Thatmade me very happy. Our bartender showed us her creativity with some strange concoction that had basil, lemonade and vodka, butafter my second one it wasn?t strange anymore. I?m gonna be hanging out here a lot. What a cluster. Such a disappointing experience after seeing so many positive reviews. We ordered a pizza, salad, and wings. The... wings (finally) arrived after we were almost ready to close out our tab (30 minutes into the meal!). They were overly breadedand not worth the wait! The staff seemed very disorganized. While we were waiting, another gentleman tried to pay for a beer hehad, and the staff of three could not figure it out. Our heads were spinning by the end of this meal. For an $80 dinner, it wasNot worth the price of admission. So disappointing. Read more

Really solid pizza all around. Good crust and ingredients. Nice service, a few solid beers on tap and it?s just consistently... delicious. Clean bathrooms, nice decorations. Will continue to return to MCP. Read more
