Went here to the Lux Cafe after the Two Chicks line was crazy and I have to say this place was great. The omelette was great,... but could have been a little bit bigger. The potatoes were great and cooked to perfection and the waiter walking around wasfriendly and the cashier/owner was great too. Could have been something more entertaining on the tv though than news. We were initially planning to go to two chicks but the line was crazy, so we decided to come to the Lux Cafe which is right... across the street, the overall experience was outstanding, we had a little accident with one of our meals and the kitchen wassuper friendly and replaced the dish, the food was delicious and everyone who works there is so sweet, only thing that wasannoying was all the Tv?s were showing Fox news?. Had breakfast at Lux Cafe, and it was good ! Quick service, and the staff was super friendly. My iced vanilla latte was one of... the best I?ve ever had. I had the crawfish omelette, it felt a little over cooked but the sauce on top was phenomenal. Myhusband had the chicken and waffles, and it was also good. Had to find a place with breakfast that was still open at 2:15 pm. Staff were friendly but they were getting ready to close and... it was 2:39!! Could only do take out. Food ended up being mediocre so frustrated about it. Got the crab cake Benedict? lookedmore like salmon croquettes or something. Cousin got the sausage poboy and the sausage looked like burnt Patties. My vanillalatte was decent but not worth $6. This was such a cute place to eat for breakfast! Price is reasonable. We ordered the eggs benedict, pancakes, and meat lover?s... omelet. Everything was very tasty! There was different coffee options and baked goods. The guy working at the counter greetedeveryone that walked through the door and was very friendly! I didn?t get a picture of the menu. Read more
Place is in the office building that I work in and food is solid, coffee is bomb and owner Jamal is a great host! Love the meat... lovers omelet, avocado toast, and lates. A local tip is eat here on the weekends when Two Chicks has a line, it?s right acrossthe street and just as good without the wait! Read more
First... Lemme say the French toast was AMAZING!!! I don't like how small they are. But the flavor definitely makes up for it.... The eggs Benedict was delicious. We ate there two days in a row! Read more
