I had high hopes for this place and really wanted to like it. I got the chicken & waffles but the waffle was soggy. I don't... recall what was on the chicken, it was sweet and somewhat spicy, however it was ice cold and therefore made the chicken cold.For me, that made the dish inedible. Our waitress was sweet so we didn't make a big deal of it and took it to go. It just mademe believe that New Orleans isn't a place for foodies. Read more

The Legacy Kitchen Craft Tavern crew came together to give us the best customer service. We were sat in a section with a waiter... who seamed not to want to serve us. He had 5 tables, two who were finishing when we sat down. He took our drink order andnever came back. He took orders from other tables, brought checks, ran cards, and brought the cards back. We looked at himlike we are ready to order but he continued to pass us by. The bartender brought our drinks and asked if we need anything. Weexplained what was going on and she had the other staff (hostess, another waitress, and the head chef) to help make our diningexperience a great one. The food and drinks were delicious. We did not ask to be compensated for our troubles. We tipped thehostess, the other waitress 20% of the 100+ dollar meal, and the bartender for being so amazing! What an amazing restaurant. I started with pork nachos, followed by Tuna Tango salad, and rounded the meal with Beignet Bites.... Everything was fantastic. This may have been one of the best restaurants in New Orleans. Staff is friendly, dress is casual andprices are fair. Read more

Got the fried chicken and waffles served with warm syrup which was nice. Ordered the sweet tea and a side of fries as well. The... plate of fries was larger than I expected so I took a take home plate for that. The service was great, I didn't even have to askfor refills cause the bartender was so aware that she just kept refilling my drink when it was empty. That was a niceexperience, and I left a great trip. The place wasn't too crowded and had plenty of seating. I definitely recommend this spot. Read more

Giving this place a 3.5 stars. Came in early on a Sunday and had to sit at the bar. The bar tender was very polite. I ordered... the beef brisket with grits and potatoes. The beef brisket was very moist and cooked perfect. The downside were the grits. Theywere not that creamy(made with water) needed some more butter, salt & pepper. The breakfast potatoes were decent. Nice atmosphere. Food and drinks were great. We ordered a mixture of things such included the fried oysters, parm-truffle fries,... brussel sprouts, and the Watermelon Crawl. Looking forward to returning for brunch. Read more

We were a bit hesitant because of the reviews, but man! This place was really great! We also had the crawfish Queso and it was... awesome! But honestly the best thing was the garlic fries with the steak, it was ridiculously delicious. The staff were friendlyand food got there quick. 10/10 would eat there again Read more

We came here during the early afternoon on a Saturday. Not a lot of people at that time, which was nice to be able to take in... the restaurant itself. Beautiful layout! Our waitress was very kind and accommodating. I had the Shrimp Tacos for my meal. A lotgoes into each taco and the taste is great. Read more
