Reviews for Johnny Sánchez in New Orleans, LA
Tried this place out for dinner tonight. The staff was extremely friendly (especially the hostess, thank you, she was so very... kind and welcoming!!) and my water glass was kept full. I got the burrito with chicken added in and let me just say this: thechicken was so flavorful and it was my favorite part of each bite. Prices were a little high, but the food was good and theburrito was very filling. Atmosphere was very very cool and the restaurant was very clean. Read more
I highly recommend the tacos which were creative and flavorful. Great cocktails. The menu is simple and creative. However, ... chips and salsa were really a waste of money and should be included. Shame on them for charging $5 for charred plantains, baggedcorn chips and run-of-the-mill salsa. Read more
Popular spot because it's owned by a celebrity chef. I'm not too big of a fan of upscale Mexican, I prefer a homie normal spot.... I think some of the best service I've ever received at a restaurant was here. The tacos here are so yummy but honestly way tooexpensive, I could've get over it Read more
I can?t say enough about this restaurant! It was truly fantastic!! The food came out appetizing and the taste was even better... and I?m super picky when it comes to Mexican food!! The tortillas with the tacos tasted fresh and homemade. I would have likefor the chips and salsa to be free but that?s ok and we loved the fried plantains! The service was amazing! The food evenbetter! We?ll definitely be going back! Read more
Yummy tacos. They are small and a little pricey but really good! You'll have to order more than 1 but they were really good and... we pared the tacos with the street corn. The plantain chips with the queso were delicious and their cocktails are strong! Theambiance was nice and chill and a good place to just enjoy ones company. Read more
Everything we tried was delicious. It was our first time so I had to try as much food as I could. The tacos were amazing and the... drinks were perfect too. All and all one of the best meals we had on our anniversary trip to New Orleans. Definitely going backnext time we're in town. Read more
All of the food was incredible! Especially the banana pudding tres leches. To die for! The waitress was pretty terrible though.... I think she only checked on us once after we finished all our food and didn't even ask to take any plates. The guy who broughtour dessert had to grab them. Read more
