I ordered Ya Ya Gumbo. It was supposed to include sausage, shrimp, blue crab, chicken and okra. It only had a few tiny pieces... of chicken in it. I asked the waiter where the rest was and he said they were microscopic so I could not see them but they werethere. He then said the waiter must have scoped the gumbo from the top of the pot. They did not try to make it right. $11 forhot colored water. Never again! Read more

Low-quality food, long waiting time after 50 mins in the line, and rude waitress.

The fried gator bites were ok, but everything else was truly amazing from the gumbo to the etouffee! Our server, Landin, did a... wonderful job taking care of us, and our food came out quite quickly. This is a great place to go eat while exploring the FrenchQuarter with kiddos! Read more

The gumbo is ok, the etouffee was good. I had the trio. Jambalaya was ok as well. I needed to add hot sauce.

The food was ok but I’m leaving 1 star because we were sat without being told that the restaurant would be closing soon for a... private event. Not only were we rushed out the door soon after receiving our food but we ordered the bottomless mimosas and assoon as we received the first round we were told that the bartender just left and we would not be receiving anymore. So we paidthe bottomless price for what? We were still in the process of eating and they brought us the check and to go boxes and startedmoving all the tables around us. Would not have eaten here if we had known there was an event taking place. Read more

The location is on the corner and I ate outside as the weather was nice. As a whole the staff was friendly and my server Valerie... was great. I had jambalaya and substituted additional chicken for shrimp. The flavor was good, but the food was room temperaturewhen it arrived and the portion size was tiny for the cost. I understand that food in general will cost more in the FrenchQuarter, but I was a little baffled by the small amount of food. For reference, I've eaten at three other similar establishmentsin the Quarter and two others within a three mile radius beyond that area. Read more

I really enjoyed this place. It's kinda ducked off as you would really have to be searching for it. It's definitely worth the... visit. The staff was super friendly and very inviting. The gumbo was really good as I tried a twist on it. Instead of gettingwhite rice I tried it with jambalaya rice which made it even better. Shout out to the waiter that recommended the ideathough. It's definitely packed with flavor. I also tried the shrimp and grits which was pretty good as well. I really liked thespinach, sausages and the sauce that came with it. It really jazzed up the plate. A good spot to try. Read more

Do not eat gumbo here and think New Orleans doesn’t have good gumbo, please take ur business elsewhere cos this place is... trash!!! I came in today to order for a 2-go gumbo order, I was so sick that all I wanted to eat was gumbo so I stopped herecos my usual gumbo spot was closed today! Placed my order and when I got inside the car, I was shocked! Not a single seafood!!!It was just gravy with some dry extremely strong bread and the rice was strong as well! They claim the gumbo have seafood likeshrimp, sausage and blue crab, that’s not true plus there was this little Ball inside I don’t even know what was that,Wascharge $11 for this garbage,DO NOT EAT GUMBO HERE! This place is overrated. They charge for gravy not gumbo Read more
