I work nearby and go occasionally. The food is generally good, though limited. --which if fine. The specials are generally... good. I normally like the staff. Today, however, I had a crummy experience. I'm not sure why businesses have "promo" thingsthat they email you when often they drive me away with all of the limits, etc. placed on them. Better not to have one at allthen to have one that is going to turn people off. So I had gotten a $5 off promo code I think for my birthday back in february.I had taken a picture of it. When I went in, I showed the young woman behind the counter the picture of it with the code on myphone and asked her if it were still valid before ordering. I thought she'd enter it in the computer and check or something. Shejust looked at it, and said, "yeah., why do you ask?" I said "because sometimes they expire or have limits. I just want tocheck before I order anything." She said "yeah." So I said, "Ok, so it is valid, no problem?" i double checked because shedidn't really seem to be looking at it. She said yes. So I ordered stuff. Then I'm being rung up--"Oh, normally these don'texpire, but this one has for some reason." Did they honor it anyway? No. When I expressed my annoyance, the other young womansaid, "well, I don't think she can really look at your phone." I don't know--if a customer asks about your promo code, I thinkyou should check it before they buy stuff. Really annoying. So, yes, the promo code worked in getting me to come back inafter months of not going, and now it has driven me away with a bad taste in my mouth. I bought the food anyway, but I have tosay, it doesn't taste good when shops are so inconsiderate of their customers. Read more
