Easily the best oysters in New Orleans! We ate here the first night in town and absolutely fell in love with the food and... service. We proceeded to try other oysters throughout our trip, but ended up coming right back to Gallier?s because no otheroysters even came close to being as delicious. HIGHLY recommend the Rockefeller and Creole Oysters. The fried oysters were alsothe best we had in the city - crunchy on the outside and so juicy on the inside! Kenit was a one of a kind server and made thewhole experience memorable for us! Read more

Gallier?s is super good! The oysters taste great and feel good to eat! I also really enjoyed the seafood pasta! The gumbo is... also just right?not too salty or overwhelming. The garlic bread is the best! The ice in the water cup actually feels and tastesdecent. Read more

I hate it won't post my videos because it shows the food so much better. We went during lunch time on a Saturday and were seated... right away. We ordered margaritas (regular and cognac) with double shots. This is one of the few places we visited where thedrinks weren't watered down and I appreciated that. We ordered the oysters (gallery special) and did 3 of each oysters theyoffered (raw, charbroiled, Rockefeller and creole). The oysters were a good size. I recommend all of them EXCEPT the creole. I'mnot sure what it was but my husband and I did not care for these at all. We also ordered a cup of jambalya which was okay.Overall we enjoyed ourselves here. We tried to go back another day for dinner but they were packed. Will definitely try themagain the next time we are in town Read more

Great food. Poor service. We ordered appetizers, salad and entrees. The appetizers and salad came out together which was fine.... However, the entrees came out less than 2 minutes after the appetizers arrived, meaning we had No time to finish the appetizersbefore the entrance arrived.. Did not see the waitress for a while so we've just used this extra plate she brought us to coverup the entree and keep it warm until we're ready for it Read more

Wow. We had all kinds of stuff, and it was all great, but this was the best fried shrimp I've ever had in my life. Try it with... the cocktail sauce or the remoulade. Red beans and rice were also fantastic. Catfish was tender and juicy. Everything wasperfectly seasoned. And the wait was minimal even though they were very busy. Read more

Mouthwatering oysters! We all know New Orleans is famous for seafood dishes so saying that this restaurant has the best tasting... oysters i have ever had in all of my travels within the US is an understatement! I can eat it all day long. Walk it off aroundFrench Quarter or Bourbon Street and then come back to eat again. It is really really good! We also got the salmon and the softcrab entrees and they are in perfection! The proximity of the location to Canal Street and other big tourist spots in NewOrleans is a bonus. Be sure to check out this place when you are in NOLA! Read more

We visited during happy hour. We had the raw oysters and oyster trio, Caesar salad, and alligator bites. Everything was... delicious and much more fairly priced than across the street more in the heart of the French Quarter. Service was very fast. Read more

I was super skeptical about this place at first. But, was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the New Orleans sample and... Alligator bites were. We decided the Gumbo was our favorite and ordered a bowl to take back to the hotel. I have to admit. Itwas the perfect spice for me. It wasn't spicy ???? hot at all which is what I was worried about. I think when things are spicyyou loose some of the flavors. Definitely wouod come back to get the oyster next time! Read more
