We just moved from Texas, and it was such a treat to find some tacos that reminded us of Austin. The barbacoa and Gulf shrimp in... particular were outstanding. I ordered one fish taco which was okay, definitely the best out of what I ordered, and one veggie taco to go and the veggie taco... was almost entirely cilantro and radishes ? no avocado, barely any beans, and maybe two small mushrooms. I also had a side ofbeans which had a weird taste to it and was just hot/ spicy in a way that was just not good. Best tacos in the city. No contest. I will fight you if you say otherwise and then show me a spot with double stacked tortillas.... Everything here is made fresh and the chefs put care into everything that comes out. The staff is usually awesome and the weeklyspecials are off the chain. The person taking my order recommended the tomatoes and they were okay. Nothing really special. I also got the guacamole and it... was good with the tomatoes. I also ordered a drink that was tasty. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. I only went for a snack. Imight go back for a meal. If you are with a group of friends, you can always have a good time. Read more

Food was good, the grilled cheese was superb, and the Jalisco sour was good. The black beans were very good. Fish taco was ok.... It tasted oily like the frying oil has not been changed in a while, but that might be a preference. Parking on the street, soyou have to know where you are, where you park. Read more
