We just moved from Texas, and it was such a treat to find some tacos that reminded us of Austin. The barbacoa and Gulf shrimp in... particular were outstanding. Don't be afraid to order 3 tacos ? these are like, Mexico City street taco size. The veggiequesadilla I ordered was a bit bigger and open-faced, like a tostada. This Texan will be back for sure! I ordered one fish taco which was okay, definitely the best out of what I ordered, and one veggie taco to go and the veggie taco... was almost entirely cilantro and radishes ? no avocado, barely any beans, and maybe two small mushrooms. I also had a side ofbeans which had a weird taste to it and was just hot/ spicy in a way that was just not good. Best tacos in the city. No contest. I will fight you if you say otherwise and then show me a spot with double stacked tortillas.... Everything here is made fresh and the chefs put care into everything that comes out. The staff is usually awesome and the weeklyspecials are off the chain.
