We found this little gem through happenstance. The food was delicious and the service was even better. We enjoyed talking and... getting to know the creole history of not only NOLA but of Brenda?s family business. We had the Angel hair pasta with grilledshrimp and the red beans and rice. Read more

Found this quaint little restaurant while wandering looking for a place to have dinner. The meal was amazing! We had ordered... chicken Marsala and chicken Parmesan. Both dishes were delicious! Portion sizes very generous! The salad was fresh with homemadeItalian dressing. Delicious! Would go there again! Read more

Great hole in the wall Italian joint. I definitely recommend trying the Muffuletta. They are very big and have the option of a... whole or half (let you have the option of sharing) There?s a lot of history and family pictures inside. Makes it the perfect momand pop restaurant. Very easy to get to and find. Lots to do around it. (Shops) There is a upstairs and balcony seating, it isthough not always open. So you may be seated inside. But I highly recommend checking this place out. Read more

We stumbled upon this authentic Italian restaurant after our original restaurant destination closed their kitchen early. We... started with drinks, an Amaretto Sour and an Italian Margarita. Both were mixed well and strong. For dinner we enjoyed theShrimp Gigliano and Shrimp Alfredo Fettuccine partnered with the fresh made garlic bread. Make sure to try the Garlic Sauce thatis bottled and on the table if you like a little hot spice. We ended up buying a few bottles to take home. It felt like westepped back in time and enjoyed the front window table they sat us at. Read more

Service was horrendous. The whole staff had a sad look on their faces, and when they served us the meal it was almost as if they... threw the plate on the table. Our server wouldn?t even look at us when she was taking our order, and talked in the most monotonevoice I have ever heard. The Muffuletta tasted really bland and the bread was soggy. There was a bug in the drink that Iordered, and when I asked for a new one, they didn?t even apologize for it. They charged a mandatory 18 percent gratuity, whenwe had a party of 4, even though the menu said for parties of 5 and more. I do NOT recommend, and would rate 0 stars if I could. Read more

Really nice man at the door said the gumbo was the best so we went in. My sister ordered the gumbo, I had cheese ravioli, we... split a caprese salad, she had a coors light, I ordered a coca-cola. Total $56. To start, my Coca-Cola was flat so I asked tohave water instead. The server looked at me like I had real nerve sending it back. She brings the food; the gumbo tastedterrible, the caprese salad was unlike any other I've had. It wasn't bad but was very blah. The ravioli was drowning in sauce! The pasta was tough, cheese filling was tasteless, and the sauce tasted less desirable than one from a jar. When the checkcame she had left the Coca-Cola I sent back in the check. Maybe we should have spoken to a manager but with the flippantresponse from the server regarding the flat drink we just paid and moved on with our day. Overall, it's a no go for futurevisits. My 1st time at Frank's Restaurant. I had a great experience. I had the fried shrimp seafood platter with fries. Lots of... tasty shrimp and the fries were delicious. I also had a slice of cheesecake which was fresh and out of this world. Severalother customers said the same thing about the cheesecake. Other customer meals look very nice. I'll be going back again totry some of the pasta dishes! Read more
