Reviews for Empanola in New Orleans, LA
OMG the fusion here in these empanadas is masterful. Good vegan options. The crawfish etouffee was perfect. I had to go back... for seconds. Get the chimmichurri and salsa with whatever you get. Read more
Enjoyable, although not really authentic empanadas. I had the chorizo and the Peruvian chicken and both were tasty. A nice snack... or lunch but given all of the food options in NOLA I found this more a fun something different to try than something I wouldseek out again. Read more
We love Empanadas and happened to pass by right as they opened. These did not disappoint. We had all three of the NOLA... ones-shrimp & cheese, gumbo, crawfish etouffee. The restaurant was nice to sit and relax. We didn't feel rushed and it was agood place to escape the heat. Read more
Wow, just wow! We stumbled upon this place while sightseeing on Magazine Street and just wanted to grab something to tie us over... until dinner. We didn?t expect it to be so good and unique! There were so many varieties of empanadas and they were stamped withtheir flavor on the outside crust. The flavors we got were very tasty and it was one of the best food experiences we had in NewOrleans. I?d recommend this place to anyone looking for a new and fun experience with delicious food. Also, hats off to the guyworking, he was very chill and knowledgeable. Read more
Tiny little place with welcoming atmosphere. Loved the lunch special. Fresh and tasty and just the right amount. The Spinach and... Artichoke empanada was delicious. The salad had so many flavors! Loved it. The tomato soup was rich and textured. Another fav!! The Bananas Foster dessert empanada was new and I really really liked it. I thought the stamp on each empanada telling me whatit was was so cool. Read more
12/4/2021 Recommend? Yes. It's a cute little spot with some seating. Great selection of empanadas featuring local flavors. I... got the two vegan flavors that they had; the yellow curry and the impossible. It's served with sauces, the two vegan ones arehot sauce and chimichurri. I liked the impossible better than the curry. The crust is a bit soft, not flaky. The impossible hada deep flavor, it may be too salty for some people. The yellow curry was actually really good and would go really well with abowl of rice. If I'm shopping in the area I would definitely stop for a little snack. Read more
