Where do I start?! First, the Injera is AUTHENTIC and delicious. The portions are perfect, the presentation is unmatched...it's... easy to see how they've been around so long! But the true hidden gem is the BAKLAVA!!!!!! Perfect after your meal or to go butyou do not want to miss it!!! And the outside atmosphere is cozy and inviting, especially all lit up at night. We were visiting New Orleans for the holiday weekend, and we were looking for something on the 4th of July. We saw this place... was open and decided to try it out. They have a little outdoor seating and in doors. We got the chicken tibs. It came with aside of collard greens which was a surprise. The one dish ended up being $18. The flavor was pretty good. A little on thepricier side for the amount of food but definitely an enjoyable experience for a mom and pop restaurant! Read more

We were walking dow Magazine street and spotted this restaurant and walked in since we have never tried Ethiopian food. Our... server was Ermias and she was very friendly and helpful in answering our questions. We were not that hungry and looked to sharea dish and she suggested we try Doro Wat which is the national dish of Ethiopia. We got the Chicken Doro wat and it came withtheir bread and lentils .
