The food was rubbish. Fries were soggy, plantain not properly fried, packaging like a dog food. I?m disappointed seriously

Not the best quality. Oxtail did not have enough seasoning and didn't have that Jamaican kick that it's supposed to have. Had... to eat it because we spent the money. Read more

Not authentic Jamaican food. This was disappointing. The curry shrimp had no curry flavor what so ever and the escovitch... boneless snapper was sub par also. And there was so much water in the container. It was very strange. If you know anythingabout Jamaica our culture and our food you know its top tier and full of flavour down to the bones. Super disappointed. Will notbe returning. Read more

I love goat, so upon researching the reviews for Boswells it looked as though their curry goat plate would be a good choice. It... ended up not being a good choice. Oddly it tasted the way a strong body soap would smell. Just to make sure it wasn't my tastebuds being off I had my 3 friends who were with me try it, and they all agreed that it was not enjoyable or edible, that theflavor was similar to that of soap. I kindly went up to the older gentlemen behind the counter and showed him my uneaten plate,I let him know that maybe the cook had made some type of mistake with the ingredients for the day. That the plate had strongreviews online, but that day something must have been off. I was hoping to give them the benefit of the doubt. He just looked atme and my uneaten plate and said "okay". I then proceeded to throw the full $18 plate of food away in front of him. He justwatched me and said nothing. I stayed with my friends talking at the table for another 30 minutes, not once did I hear an offerto get us another plate, a refund, that he had investigated what may have been the problem, nor an apology, the only thing heever said to me was "okay". Any good business owner knows its better to lose a dollar than a customer. Customer serviceexperience here is bogus. Not sure how a business owner feels taking someone's money for something they could not consume.Boswells lost 4 customers, my friends and I won't be back here. As for the rest of our order my friends all got the jerkchicken, they had no complaints but it wasn't to-die-for. I'm sure there are much more enjoyable and tasty jamaican restaurantsin the city, and with much better service!! Read more

Ordered from Uber Eats. Good Jamaican food in a predominantly Cajun area. Chicken patty was not desirable but the Vegetable was... good. Beef Patty was good, was a but hesitant when it was named Rare Beef. Rice and Peas with Jerk Chicken was great. Plantainsweren't thoroughly cooked and Mac and cheese was milky and bland. Read more
