We had an amazing time at Black Penny today for the Saints game! The beer buckets were $10 for 5 beers and the red beans and... rice was free and delicious. Shawn(Sean?) was so sweet and such a friendly bartender. We loved it here. Read more

Good late night bar. Their cocktails aren't nearly as good as down the street at Bar Tonique, and they aren't as divey as some... of the surrounding bars, but a solid in-between spot to grab a beer. Read more

Good atmosphere for a late afternoon stop. Great variety of beers. Friendly enough scene where you can expect to chat with... strangers. Generally welcoming and worth popping into when making a day of it in the French Quarter. Read more

Visited 8/3/22. Seems nice, mostly a huge selection of beer. We were bar hopping, was the last place we hit. Good music playing.... The little goth chick bartender was very sweet, I asked for a cocktail, but it's not really a cocktail bar, they have hardliquor, will make you something if you ask, but no real cocktail menu. Bartender made me a Rum Punch, it was pretty good. Greatfor tourists like myself. Nice dark atmosphere. Bartender friendly. Read more

One of my favorite spots at the edge of the FQ. Their beer selection is top notch with some unique ones that you cannot easily... find and the bar tenders are nice. Great drop-off or pickup location too for ride shares. Read more

Here for a pop-up Vietnamese Style Crawfish Event; we journeyed in to wait for the crawfish order to be ready. Basic bar, with... seemingly familiar to the place 'bar flys' as I know this is a frequent stop during Mardi Gras Festivities. The crowd here on aThursday night was plentiful, idk if that was because of the Crawfish or if this was the norm; either way, we blended in andenjoyed the night. Bartenders were friendly as were the patrons. Indoors there were 4-5 table & seating areas for you tocop-a-squat and be a lookie-lou or enjoy your company, whatever your pleasure. Lots of eclectic decor to feast your eyes on.Quite dimly lit, but it helps to set the mood though. Drink prices were fair & the drinks were tasty as well. I'm not a fan ofgame hunting and my hope is that the BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED RHINO HEAD on the wall near the restrooms was a fake. Read more
