Decent, but could be a lot better. Things look good in the cute little store, but the taste you can tell that parts of it were... frozen or premade before. Croissant sandwich was very bland. Bagel sandwich was mediocre. Coffee a bit bitter. Read more

The NO style iced coffee is hands down one of the absolute best in the city, savory and the perfect amount of sweetness. The... salmon bagel is delicious, my daughter rarely finishes them but this one was devoured to the last crumb. The Egg/salami bagen Ihad was better than most NYC places can offer, the dressing is as unique as it is tasty, definitely a must go from now on. Read more

Pineapple juice was good but the sandwiches were extremely average. Wouldn?t get it again. Staff aren?t exactly welcoming but I... guess it?s more of a quick stop kind of place anyway. There are many better options in New Orleans. Read more

It was lovely. Clean, quiet place with lots of seating I side and out. So many food choices for a quick bite or a breakfast... sammie. Even quiche! Lots of coffees to go - I had the frozen coffee, and I loved it. Definitely a great stop after a run orduring a walk in the morning. Read more

After an unsuccessful trip to a liquor store on St. Charles that was unexpectedly closed;(should have called first) we walked... through the rain to Avenue Cafe. First trip there for myself and my friend. It was very clean inside. We each had a pineappleginger smoothie. She had the caprese? sandwich which the person behind the counter said was on white bread (it was more of awhole wheat) and cafe au lait. I went with a chai latte? and the granola with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit. At this time theyare not offering inside seating, but there were two small cafe tables for two against the building and protected from the rain;as well as three larger picnic tables with umbrellas. We sat at one of the former and stayed dry; although, it was rainingpretty steadily. My granola was sweetened with honey and the fresh fruit was exactly that- fresh! My friend said her capresesandwich was good-definitely praise from someone who recently returned from Italy. The baked goods in the dessert case alllooked delicious. Perhaps next time. Read more
