I can't rave about this place enough! I've been here not only for brunch (bottomless mimosas) but also for dinner and this place... never disappoints. The dinner was amazing with the lamb sliders, fried green tomatoes for appetizers, and my date had shrimp andgrits. I'm not a huge shrimp fan since it can be rubbery at times when it comes to texture but Apolline over exceeds myexpectations when it comes to that particular ingredient! Today we had brunch that consisted of shrimp and grits of course butalso the candied bacon as the appetizer (which I desperately need the recipe for) as well as the pork enchiladas. Keep in mindthis place does not specialize in Mexican food but those enchiladas were the best I have ever tasted hands down. All in all theservice and the food was amazing! My partner and I had a fantastic time at Apolline for brunch. Luckily it was the game and the restaurant was quiet and with few... guests. The menu although small has common items like egg, potatoes, waffles, etc. that anyone can eat alongside their maindishes. I decided to create my own using the sides and ordered eggs, the waffle and potatoes...delicious!!! My partner decidedto order the mini shrimp and grits plate and it did not disappoint in anyway. Not spicy, but with a quick of flavor. As fordrinks they have bottomless mimosas for $20 dollars, which is what my partner ordered and I decided to go with the OLD CUBANdrink, not amazing but very interesting none the less.
