Cool little place in the Bywater. Great atmosphere. Food portions are not huge but food is mostly on the “gourmet” side.... Food has a great taste! I am giving it 4/5 because the skirt steak was very chewy. I am Honduran and it makes happy to see aHonduran-owned business blooming. Read more

Went there with my coworkers for the New Orleans Coolinary Month. Trying new restaurants in the city. The place is nice, very... quaint, the service was great. Street parking only. However, I did not enjoy the food I ordered. Everyone else did enjoy theirselections. I would try again and order a different dish. Overall, the experience was good ???????????????? up!! Thank youErica for your awesome service ???? Read more

I have been visiting Alma's brunch service for some time now, ever since I have seen Chef Melissa on PBS Kitchen Queens.... Everything I have had for brunch has been good, the pupusa's likely being my favorite with the pollo chuco being second. Thestaff always treats us so well and actually seem happy and passionate about the food and drinks. The coffee I hear is sourceddirectly from Honduras and delicious, I usually just drink it black because it is so rich and easy to drink. I would have ratedthis joint 4 stars because there are so many other brunch places doing similar things, but Alma recently started dinner serviceand it blew me away. Such fun and inventive Honduran/New Orleans foods, great service, delicious spins on classic cocktails... Icould not ask for a better dining experience, and I am certain that it will be a long time before a meal like that could besurpassed. Thank you Alma! Read more

My friend kept raving about this place and since we found ourselves in this area, we decided I needed to try it! Very cute... place with very delicious food. I got the avocado toast with scrambled eggs on top My friend claimed this is the best avocadotoast she's ever had. My opinion? Best. Avocado. Toast. Ever. I also had the crispy potatoes and I enjoyed those as well. Itwas all very well seasoned and piping hot when it arrived. They have an amazing beverage selection as well.. I only had waterthough. Truly one of a kind. Nearly every dish is a delicious reimagining of a classic American or Central American dish. All fresh and... immensely satisfying. They even have their own coffee. You can tell the staff are treated well from how personable they are.Easily my favorite brunch cafe in the city. Read more

We sat on the sidewalk. Sunny side. The server brought the shade down for us. ???? All of our food was quite tasty. Only thing... was the cous cous type dish was a smaller serving than expected. So she ordered plantains to go with it. We brought a minibirthday cake and our server was happy to accommodate us. I snuck it to her when I went inside and asked her to bring it out tous on a plate. Perfect lunch for the Sisters. ???? ???? ???? ???? Read more

Everything we had was incredible and we left for home with plenty for a second meal. Iloved the space it wasn't too crowded, they are checking vaxxes and the staff was friendly, welcoming and on point. I lookforward to returning. Read more
