Reviews for Ajun Cajun in New Orleans, LA
This little gem of a restaurant is my new favorite for Asian food in the entire country. They have the most delicious and... AUTHENTIC Yakisoba I've had anywhere on planet earth outside of Okinawa. This was my favorite food 30 years ago...I practicallylived on it for the time I was over there but it never got old. I've tried soba from a lot of places since then, but it alwaystastes "just ok" and didn't really push the nostalgia button. From the very first bite, my Yakisoba from Ajun Cajun was likegoing back in time. It tastes exactly like I remembered and is such a comfort food for me. Just writing this review makes mewant to go back for more. Read more
A super cute place and the food is always amazing! I've tried something different every time I've been and I've never been... disappointed. It's only a few blocks from my place so it's an easy choice for nights that my wife and I don't feel like cooking. Read more

The only bad thing about this place was that there weren?t more customers there when I visited. Friendliness/Service: 5 stars. ... Very hospitable. Patient. Attentive. Cleanliness/Atmosphere: 4.5 stars. From what I can see is it is a clean place. Funatmosphere. Don?t let outside of building fool you. Seems there are even places outside to eat if you need to. Perhaps a COVIDaddition. Food: 4.5 stars. I ordered the spicy garlic edamame. Very good. Slight kick. I also ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen. Iadded some ingredients. Very good. I didn?t do spicy as I was told spicy is very spicy. Perhaps I will try spicy next time tosee if it enhances the flavor. Broth wasn?t super rich at first but as it integrated with the other ingredients I noticed itbecame richer with each bite. Price: Place has a variety of menu options. Price for area about right. Price to portion seemedabout right. Concept: I love the concept. It?s creative. An Asian Cajun fusion. Recommend and love supporting localbusinesses! Read more
Low key and cute out of the way place that's a real gem. The staff are very genuine and friendly. The food is worth every penny.... We had the Ahi tuna and Yakiniku Poboys and they were some of the best food we've had in our trip to the city. Read more
This place is small and quiet. 1 other customer Friday afternoon. The tuna sashimu was very good. The rice bowl was better... then most. There are rice bowl places all over Miami and this was better then all of those I tried. Good miso soup. Maybe ifthey had more hibachi meat options, that would be great . A+ Read more
I was nervous when I paid and tipped upfront, and I was nervous that when asked the employee how many hours the broth was boiled... and she said ?we make it in 15 minutes.? And then I was also nervous when I was handed a fork upfront. But the tonkatsu ramenwas great. The broth was salty, creamy and thick. The noodles were chewy and good. Chasu was average in taste, but a goodportion. The same employee was very sweet and let me take Halloween candy from a Halloween prop. It was a pleasant experienceoverall. Read more
