Don't let the unknown keep you from experiencing some of the most delicious and lovingly prepared food I've ever had. Ask and... the wonderful staff is willing to educate and guide you through the menu. My first visit definitely turned me into a patron. Ihad no idea what to expect but whatever expectations I could have had, this place would have exceeded it. I need to go often towork my way through the amazing drink menu and so I can taste everything on the menu multiple times. Collard green sambasa (evento not the biggest fan of collards) may have converted me. The lamb tibs was out of this world! The shrimp...my god the shrimp -so delicious. Just go! Read more

We came here during our weekend in New Orleans. We popped over as soon as we saw that it was an Ethiopian restaurant *with*... vegan options! Or host, Blaze was great and offered to make us the vegan platter on a Sunday, though it was a Monday specialty. The food was fantastic - from the lentils to the greens to the sweet potato. They elevated even a simple salad with so muchflavor that we ordered seconds! The food was obviously made with a lot of love and soul - Blaze told us they cook the beets forover 6 hours! We even met his warm and friendly mom. The vibe of the place is lovely - with homages to Ethiopia, Africa and theBLM movement. The mural in the front is particularly moving. There is a lot of respect and love for the culture. Addis Nola is amust visit if you want a wholesome lunch for a day of sightseeing! Read more

I got the veggie platter and hibiscus tea. The food is beyond AMAZING!! the atmosphere and the energy is Top Notch. The aroma of... the HAND ROASTED coffee beans ???? now that's love. They are super nice and you can taste the love and care for the food and forthe people that they serve. The communicated intentionally with me even though I am not verbal. I will definitely be bringing myhearing family next time I'm in NOLA and we going here only!! JUST WOW Read more

Delicious food, a great staff. The music is loud and fun, but you can still have a conversation. The lamb tibs was my favorite,... and my partner loved the chickpeas. Don’t sleep on the coffee or the spiced iced tea, either! It helps to make reservationsfirst. But I’ll definitely be back. Read more

Great night out. My friend and I ordered three dishes — a chicken dish, beef dish, and the veggie combo. The presentation was... an incredible surprise — they brought out a larger-than-expected Thanksgiving-style platter, which made exploring Ethiopianfood a fun shared experience. We went right around 5PM on a Monday, and, shortly after, the restaurant was busy with customers. The service was exceptional— the best and friendliest service I’ve experienced in all of Nola. Thank you to our waitressMaya and all the waitstaff for making dinner great! Read more
