Now that they have their own location on Oak street, some people have flocked over there. However, 14 Parish in Pythian remains... to be a delicious Jamaican restaurant centered in the CBD. When we go here, I tend to always get the Oxtail plate w/ some rice &collard greens! So that's exactly what is posted! @phidingthefam Read more

Can?t wait to go back! I ordered the jerk chicken biscuit sandwich with gravy. The chicken had immense flavor and for being... fried, wasn?t greasy at all. It was good in the gravy, which was the PERFECT consistency? not too thick and didn?t rely onsaltiness for flavor. The house-made BBQ sauce was the crown jewel of this dish, dark and peppery and a subtle amount ofsweetness. The only reason it?s a 4 instead of a 5 is the biscuit was a little bland and I think our order fell through thecracks. We received it after several tables who ordered after us. Our server was apologetic and quick otherwise. Excited to goback for the full 5-star experience! Read more

Inside the pythian market food hall. The portion sizes were big for the price point. I had the Curry chicken, mac & cheese, and... plantains. Everything was good. My wife had the jerk chicken, plantains, and rice & peas. She enjoyed it but said the rice &peas could be better. Standard solid Jamaican food. Read more

Thought it would be expensive for the area. It was normal city restaurant pricing. The food was delicious though. I got curry... chicken, cabbage, and rice/peas. My friend got jerk shrimp, callaloo, and plantains. The drinks were great. They make their ownfresh juice. I recommend for sure! Read more

I tried this place while on a business trip, it was delicious! The portions were very much worth the price. I ordered the jerk... chicken, and it comes with two side orders. The "jerk"sauce tastes more like a mild spicy barbecue sauce, it wasn't really ajerk sauce, but still delicious ????! Read more
