Not all Mexican restaurants have that unique flavor. This cosy Mexican restaurant I ran into at the Irish festival, had... incredible Guacamole, the freshest fruit cups, and Chorizo with nacho chips, ND cheese was amazing taste, I had to stop by theirrestaurant. The restaurant is a very cozy place with lots of home decor, available stree parking, and accessible, dine in orout. Food delightful, I ordered the Chichen Enchiladas with corn tortillas, fresh Jamaica drink (Hibiscus) very delicious. I wasnot expecting a ready to go box for my food, and pay 1st before you eat, the roasted pork was seasoned differently that I am notuse to, all restaurant have there preference. Extremely sweet bilingual (Spanish) staff. Read more

Too good!! I got the veggie tacos without cheese & sour cream (to make them vegan). The tacos are small, but that?s the style... tacos they are! You can always order more!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I can?t wait to go back, such a greataddition to New Milford. Read more
I want to put in a good word ? a very good word ? about Momma?s Tacos in New Milford. Having grown up in Texas and spent a fair... amount of time there since, I know a good taco when I see and taste it. And these are terrific, and very authentic, too. There?s a surprisingly big menu. I first ordered three lengua tacos ? that?s beef tongue, a traditional southwest andMexican protein. They came simply prepared, with just cilantro, onions and really fresh and vibrant salsa, both red and green. If you?ve never had lengua, you?re in for a treat. It?s flavorful and tender. They were so good I then went back for three tacosal pastor (seasoned pork cooked on a vertical spit ? something I used to get all over central Mexico years ago). They wereincredibly good, so much so that for a minute I thought I was back in Puebla, or maybe Austin. Really delicious. My wife joinedme for three pollo tacos (chicken) and these, too, were delicious and not overcooked ? perfect street food, just servedindoors. I spoke to the owner (Momma, I suppose), who clearly knows this food very well and loves it. She makes her own Mexicanchorizo, which I can?t wait to try. She also told me that she?s going to start making soups in January 2022, including myfavorite, pozole, which is the best thing in the world on a cold day. But I can?t wait until January (just a month away) ? Ihave to go back right away and try everything. Read more
I was excited to try this place, on my lunch break I drove over for some tacos. The person in front of me was having a... conversation with the woman behind the counter. She had tattoos and piercings I believe. Neither person seemed too concernedabout me -a hungry pregnant woman with a 30 minute lunch break. I waited while they laughed and continued to chit chat. Whenthey were ?done? it was my turn and she didn?t offer an apology or thank me for waiting. The whole thing didn?t seem thatprofessional or friendly. As a fairly new spot in town, I?d think they want to be more mindful and considerate in the future. If I end up going again and have a more positive experience, I?ll consider taking this review down.
