Ordered an Uber eat from this restaurant. Super bad. Not authentic Vietnamese pho. Destroyed my whole mood tonight. Also I... ordered brown sugar milk tea. It?s terrible. Maybe I caught them on a bad day or time. I ordered Summer Roll (noodles, chopped iceberg lettuce and 3 shrimps sliced in half... so essentially 1.5 shrimp(s)), shrimp spring rolls that was good. A beef pho (ok) and my pork chop over rice( my chops were verydark, dry and very tough,as if they microwaved it, the seasoning was alright, a little on the sweet side with no lemongrassflavors at all). I'm no expert in Asian food, or any type of food . I just eat wherever my friends take me. I've been to many Pho placed in NYC... but I have to say this has been my favorite. The taste, the meat, the noodles; everything was delicious. I ordered Beef Pho. Myfriends all had a different item from the menu and we all liked our selections. Place was very clean. The place is very clean and the staff are very nice. I ordered the shrimp summer rolls, (spicy) chicken bánh mì with fries,... iced lychee with jelly, and brown sugar bubble tea. The summer rolls is probably one of the freshest summer rolls I ever had!The bánh mì's spice was a bit all over the place, some bites had no spice, and some bites were very spicy, but overall it wascrunchy, very delicious, and filling. The fries were a touch on the soggy side but I could get behind it since it was very wellseasoned. The lychee drink was very tasty and refreshing. The brown sugar bubble tea is rather mediocre at best when compared toother places that offers boba tea. It could've been a little more sweet, and with some sort of chill to it. The fries is 1 out of 10, burned and over salted. The banh mi, as a native Vietnamese is 3/10. Their breads are good, crunchy,... sweet and sour carrot are okay. The paté inside the special is so so, dry. The only problem is the meat. I tried chicken, porkchop and special Ha Long bay, they all shared the same problem, too fatty, weird smell. They didn?t do a good job marinating themeat and made poor choice of ham. Read more

Dinner was excellent at Ha Long Bay. Excellent customer service, all staff extremely kind, patient, helpful and respectful.... Restaurant is spotless inside and out and menu is clear, concise and easy to navigate. I had the Pho with grilled chicken and itwas delightful. Soup was hot and all ingredients were fresh and tasty. The plate of complimentary bean sprouts was generous andequally fresh. I also ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and it was also delicious and fresh. Ample parking in lot behindrestaurant or on street but you need to feed the meters until 7:00 pm and the Village of New Hyde Park aggressively enforcesparking meter violations. This was my first time at Ha Long Bay and I definitely will be returning soon. Highly recommended. Read more
