Came here a few weeks ago with my husband for dinner. Food quality was outstanding. The zucchini florets were a bit too fried,... but the rest of the food was fresh, warm, and very tasty. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the service was extremely poor. It took us asking someone to order to even get a waiter. He also did not come to check in on us one time once we got the food. It seems like this is a pretty new place where they don't have proper management in place. Hopefully over time this willimprove. Read more

Food and drinks were very good. Some of The best pasta in New Haven. Only thing is the service. The servers themselves are very... nice but the two servers are spread very thin with how busy they are and it seems like that?s a regular occurrence on theweekends. They are running around frantically which isn?t fair to them or the customers. We put in a pizza order that wascompletely forgotten about. Drinks also took a very long time because the same servers were making the drinks. Management, helpyour servers and if you fix this, your restaurant will be the best Italian restaurant in New Haven. The food here was very good. My boyfriend got the pasta Genovese which was amazing. The beef was so tender. I got the short rib... ravioli. Also very good and the sauce was loaded with meat as well, but a bit salty. We did feel a bit rushed when we first gotthere. It was 9:10 on a Saturday and we were told they could seat us but the kitchen closes soon so we would have to orderquickly. I understand having worked in a restaurant before but it said they were open until 10pm and there were many tablesstill there. Would have liked to order a salad or appetizer but didn?t for this reason, maybe next time. Our server was verynice, though she did not know if she could make us change which was a bit odd. Magnificent. Too much food but everything good and tasty. The short rib Ravi pasta rates 10/10!!! Nice fresh vegetables. ... Lovely carbonara that could use a drop more flavor and potato croccche appetizer get thumbs up Staff was lovely. Place wasclean. Nice cloth napkins. Wish they didn?t give tin to go boxes. Thanked us for our business and said he tries to provide a great menu, which he does. All the food was great, especially the fried zucchini flowers! Went here for a date and was pleasantly surprised by the spacious open air dining area in the back. The wait staff were very... attentive and the food came out very quickly. Ordered the tagliatelle alla bolognese and the cotoletta alla milanese. TheBolognese was a nice portion and quite hardy. The Cotoletta alla milanese was a massive dish that nearly had me beat.
