Hard to get a good read on this place. People in the area seem to like it. Figured we would see what the deal was this past... Sunday. The food was decent but let's be real, people don't go out to eat for the food; they go out for the experience,including the atmosphere but more importantly the service. As myself and the two other individuals I was with have all worked inthe service industry ourselves, we have a higher tolerance for less than stellar service than those who have not had theexperience. Service here was far below adequate. It's never good when poor service ruins the entire experience. Could have justbeen an off night for the server, or may be they haven't been trained well, maybe a mix of both. I am guessing the server wasn'tnew as they seemed comfortable sitting at a table for a few minutes with other guests while they stepped away to get the gratedcheese for us, sadly it never arrived. A lovely place. As usual the food was delicious and wait staff was great.

So glad I chose to go to Brazi?s for lunch! I ordered their gourmet pepperoni pizza. The crust wasn?t too thick or too thin and... was cooked to perfection in their brick oven.????????The staff is very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Simply amazing food and atmosphere. The only drawback here is by the water, it can smell pretty bad outside, but the inside was... inviting and cozy. The food was great, I took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner. We ordered calamari, clams casino,and garlic bread appetizers. She's not a fan of seafood at all and LOVE the Brazi calamari. The service was great. Our waiterwas very considerate of out wallet, asking if we would wait to order until after appetizers simply because when people normallyorder that much, they don't get dinner. I was happy to tip this waiter well! She was very friendly, and veryconsiderate Overall, a definite 5 star experience, some of the best Italian food you can get in CT. Can't wait to try theirpizza! We stopped in for lunch and the staff are super friendly and speak to you as if you are family, and made it feel very welcoming.... We ordered the broccoli rabe and a large sausage and hot cherry pepper pizza. We loved the broccoli rabe but were disappointedin the pizza. Omg I can?t believe I actually was referred by a friend to come here I?m More displeased in her taste for good authentic Italian... food because tonight was the worst experience I?ve ever had dining. I ordered a salad with creamy balsamic and it was thesmallest and worse clumpy dressing I?ve ever had. The bread was cold and stale I really tried to make the best out of the foodeven after waiting a hour for my order :( I know the waiter was trying his best. I even tipped him 30 bucks I felt more bad forhim. I ordered cavatelli con broccoli without Alfredo and the New York strip with blue cheese and the broccoli soup, The bestthing out of the whole meal was the soup. This is my honest review and I will not be coming back here there was no more parkingin the front so we had to park in the back with the dumpsters and I was quite shocked to see the mess and the smell was horrificbehind the restaurant here are some pictures. Val the manager responded but as clear as the pictures as clear as day the foodwas not prepared well. You can see by the soggy salad, mysterious balsamic dressing and poor presentation in something as simpleas the bread. Disappointed by it all the poor location and smell was the least of my worries.
