I really enjoyed the Farm River Cafe. The staff were so kind and accommodating. They have a large selection of loose leaf teas.... I highly suggest you get the tea pot of tea which felt so special once it was out on the table. The soup was warming anddelicious. I got the chicken wrap which was filling and also so yummy! I went with a friend during an open mic night. Everyonethere was chill and friendly. I would love to go back again and recommend you visit! Read more
Excellent vegan Rueben and cauliflower soup. Customers order at the counter, have their food delivered and then pay. If more... food is wanted then the customers need to go up to the counter and ask for more. I would have preferred full service. The foodwas excellent so I?ll likely return though. Read more
(12/27 Update) Superb and friendly staff. Really good food. (OLD) Quaint little cafe. Friendly staff and nice seating areas.... Service was pretty abysmal. Took well over 25 minutes to receive 2 egg and cheese sandwiches. Food is really good. Service needsto be improved though. I'll come back and try again another day and update this review. Unfair of me to post a review since I'm one of the 5 people who work here, but hey! I'm going to anyhow!! haha. Friends, we make... your food to order!! As of today, we've been open for 28 days and we're still working out the wrinkles, but I just HAVE TO postthis in response to the (solitary) 2 star review... I was working that morning and we were slamming busy, short one person, withonly the awesome and giant-hearted owner, Glenn cooking up each order and me attending to the line of customers and ringing theregister. There were 7 people ahead of the three people who ordered the eggy sammies, so the food came out in the order in whichit was placed. Sorry that it took a few extra minutes for your sandwiches (it was no where near 25 minutes, close to 15 thoughfor sure.) We have one frying pan and no grill, but rest assured, that was the only time since we've opened that things got thatcrazy! Please remember that we are but a wee and humble cafe and all your tea, coffee, and CLEAN food is made with love! I hopethat we will see those folks again so they can experience a true representation of our fabulous service in addition to ourawesome atmosphere and scrumptious food!
