Sweet local spot for some home cooking. Stopped on our way home from Ohio and didn't leave room for dessert. My daughter had a... huge (mini) grilled chicken salad, the hubster had Chicken fried steak that was huge! And I had the Cod fried and the breadingwas delicious. Great place. We met our friend Shane here and we couldn't believe the size of the fish sandwich we ordered. It was impressive.... Had to cut it in half. Couldn't even eat a fraction of it. It was amazing. Everything was fabulous, clean, great service, greatstaff. Read more
Must have been some bad turn over there. Never had a problem in many years but suddenly the food is horrid and they don?t even... put the whole order into the bag. They forgot the drinks and sauce.. We had a group of 15. The hotel we stayed at suggested hugger muggers and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent however... that wasn't the best part. The atmosphere was amazing and the service and speed were spectacular. The waitresses were superfriendly and when exceptional at there job and the speed of which are food arrived with it being a super busy Sunday was greatwas well. We wanted to find a place to stop to eat before we went to Hill view Manor for the tour. I?m glad I chose this place because it... turned out to be fantastic. It?s spacious and cozy with a very large parking lot. The food was delicious and the staff wasgreat. I ordered the mini quesadilla salad. When she brought it out I was so surprised at how large the salad was I thought theymade a mistake. But nope she said that is the mini. Lots of food. Highly recommend this place. First off, you gotta love the name of this restaurant. I haven?t been here before, but it?s the beauty of family restaurants... like this that puts comfort in the service as well as the food. I started with the Hugger-Mugger-Hugger wings that were atangy-smoky-sweet interesting flavor. The portions are plentiful. I had a side of rice with my meal with some of the bestchicken gravy anywhere. Erika was a great server who showed pride in her job. The cooks showed pride in the food quality.Definitely a place I wanna come back to. I hope this place continues to go strong. Read more
