Just came to get a treat and it?s clearly not open. Showed up at 815pm when it says open until 9.
So the employees are so nice and hard working non stop so this doesn't reflect them at all. But was excited to try the coney... dogs, and sloppy Joe's spent like $50 for the family got hot dogs, sloppy Joe's, onion rings, fries and ice cream... so the hotdogs and sloppy Joe's we threw them all out I don't think anyone could finish theirs. The meat they use is so fatty it was likechewing on paper... ???? awful, the fries and onions rings were good but the ice cream was really good. Best independently owned and family run ice cream shop in New Castle by far. I just had one of the best chocolate malts I have... had in years! Their sandwiches remind me of the good old fashion drive-in era sandwiches of an era gone by. Made to orderexactly as you want it by the owner says it all. Obvious pride in the food they turn out shows with every bite. Walk up windowor call ahead drive up gives the consumer options. I love the fact they will be staying open until 9:00 PM for the Summerseason. Work in the yard, clean up then finish the night with a good tenderloin and malt. Perfect! Read more
