Took my friend for a special Sat morning breakfast to introduce her to Jamaican cuisine, and boy they did not disappoint! As... you opened the door the scent of fresh cooking food greeted you, just clean fresh seasoning simmering, then the service was justfantastic, welcoming, made us feel great in the early morning. We went for the famous Jamaican breakfast of Ackee and SaltFish, with fried Johnny Cakes and steamed banana, boiled dumplings and yam (provisions). The food was soooo good, I cannotdescribe how delicious it was, perfectly seasoned, not too spicy, just right, and good portions. She loved it so much, sheplans to come back from Virginia and bring her husband to try it, I thank them soo much for the wonderful experience! I willdefinitely be back! Read more
Good customer service, and humbling people. Seems like your grandmother is making the food. Prices are good and a variety of... refreshments in fridge as well. Clean facility. Read more
Food was bland and the oxtails didn?t have much flavor. The cabbage was brick hard and lacked flavor as well. The rice was the... best thing but overall average! I wouldn?t revisit. Read more

I was meeting a friend, from Jamaica, for an early lunch. Arriving before her, I decided to go in. The inside was filled with... the smell of the cooking food. Very appetizing. I was pleasantly greeted by an employee, and directed to the counter to place myorder. Once the staff knew I would be waiting to order until my friend arrived, I was offered a complimentary cup of chickensoup. I accepted. After the soup arrived I was brought fresh bread like ball, (I now know is a dumpling). Both were enjoyed. Ihad never had Jamaican food before, and asked my friend for guidance. I landed on curry chicken with rice and beans andplantains. I now know I really like Jamaican food! My friend said everything was very good, and up to her standards. (A highcompliment, indeed) Clean and well organized, interior, flavorful and fragrant, food, attentive and courteous staff made theexperience memorable. A few upgrades in the dining area would not be out of order. However, it appears to be a mainly takeoutestablishment. So, not a big deal. All in all, a very pleasant experience. I will definitely be going again. Read more
