I have been eating at this restaurant since I was a kid living in New Carlisle and I believe today?s visit will be my last. The... quality of the Qualified has been on the decline for years, but today it was the service that was more upsetting. Absolutelythe most horrible service I have ever seen. First of all, the hostess acted like she didn?t want to seat us or deal with us atall. And then when we finally did get to our seat we waited for several minutes and watched as four different waitresses came toall of the tables around us and completely ignored us. I had to get up and go back up front and tell them we needed a waitress.When they finally got the waitress to our table she was fine but we had a complaint about our chicken and management could notbe bothered to come back and talk to us. She told the waitress to tell us to come up front and when we tried to explain ourproblem she dismissed it saying that there had been no complaints about the chicken all day. In my experience, when a customertells you there?s something wrong with the food that you served them you don?t act as though they?re stupid for bringing it toyour attention. You kindly apologize and then do something to make it right. Customer service obviously isn?t a priority at thisrestaurant anymore. I am extremely disappointed and I will not be coming back. It's a decent place to grab breakfast, prices are a little high for what you get and the choices are limited. The server... delivered us coffee and water quickly but no cream or spoons and left us waiting a long time for them, after that she was on theball though. The general consensus with our group of 6 was next time we'll go to Bob Evans instead. Read more

First time eating here and the service, atmosphere and food were all wonderful. I know they are known for their Chicken, but... when I saw liver and onions on the menu I had to try it, and other than my Mom's, this is by far the best I've had. I wish Icould remember our servers name to give her a shout out because she was so friendly, and you could just tell she liked what shewas doing. Will without a doubt be back again... Read more

Lotsa amazing comfort brunch food ???? The Biscuits & gravy were huge!

LOL! Pics are before and after... Hash brown casserole is Fantastic ???? A very nice lady, who's been enjoying Melodie's for 46... years, overheard it was our first time there and thankfully she recommended the Hash brown casserole, and everythingelse!... Everything else WAS amazing! They make thier own bread, then GRILL it for toast????, and make it into Frenchtoast. Biscuits and gravy are absolutely special ???? the staff were so friendly and knew most of the customers by name. As youcan see from these photos we'll be back for years to come too. Read more

The food was fine, they have a large selection on the menu. The staff was polite and even though they were very busy kept up as... best as they could. The only thing that brought down the rating for this diner is that it was pretty filthy. I think thedishwasher was broken because the silverware and cups were all pretty dirty.
