Anything Ramen took me back to my old poor college days, I had to try this place!. Absolutely great fusion of combination dishes... with Ramen noodles. I went with the Seafood combination soup. It was finely prepared dish, boasting with flavor. Prices weregood and it was very clean with a quiet ambiance mid lighting. Read more

Love this place. My go-to place for ramen! The restaurant is nice and clean. And the food is amazing! The plating is beautiful... and so does the taste of food. The tonkotsu ramen is soooo good! And I’m also a big fan of their chewy noodle wrapped shrimp!Tempura, calamari and takoyaki are also great! If you want some great Japanese food, just go to Rakkii Ramen! Read more

I didn't know what to expect at a ramen joint in a college town in New Brunswick, NJ. Typically, my experiences haven't been... that good at an Asian anything near a college town outside of major cities. When my son told me that he decided to work herebecause of the food, I had to try it out (especially while he was working there). To my surprise, this place was comparable toany ramen joint in NYC, including St. Mark's area. Their takoyaki was crunch on the outside and had real plump chewy octopusinside with proper bonito flakes on top (better than most places in NYC). Kara age (fried chicken) was solid with deliciouschili sauce. Edamame was little too salty for my taste, but was good nonetheless (my wife could not stop eating them). Ramenswere solid. Tonkotsu ramen had more straight noodles than wavy ones, but that is what a proper tonkotsu ramen should have, butit was missing shredded red pickled gingers, but when I asked my son, I mean the wait staff, they brought it to me right away. With it, it was (almost) perfect. My wife's Osaka beef noodles reminded me of Taiwanese style beef noodles and Cantonese stylebeef noodles. If they served it with spicy chili oil, it would have been perfect. I am surprised that there is this type ofquality ramen served in a college town of Rutgers New Brunswick. I wish that I had type of ramen joint when I went to college. Kids these days are so lucky... Read more

Had a pretty good experience at Rakkii Ramen in Edison. Food was absolutely delicious and the art on the walls were gorgeous.... One hundred percent recommend a stop here at this location. Cannot go wrong with the jasmine boba, the rakkii fries or the spicymiso or black garlic ramens. Now for my standard COVID comments as of March 2022. All employees are wearing masks and theindoor seating is relatively spaced out. Could end up being a little stuffy if crowded but I found it was comfortable on anaverage Friday evening for dinner. Really great flavored Ramen soup for a good price. Restaurant is in downtown New Brunswick so parking may be difficult but if... you're in the area definitely check it out. Ambiance is also a plus, this place has a nice chill vibe with very pleasantattentive staff. Read more

Ordered a takeout and was pleasantly surprised by the speed and service. There also were some pleasant surprises like branded... utensils, bowls with plastic inserts that hold noodles over the broth keeping it warm and dry. Great taste, awesome service. Thanks! Read more
