This place was fantastic. We ordered a large Caesar salad and split two large chicken alla vodka. It was by far the best pasta... and vodka sauce we have had. Only reason for 4 and 5 stars was there was just one beer on tap (was not a fan), they ran out ofbread before we got there and the large Caesar salad was large in name only. I found this place by doing a google search and trusted the reviews! I'm so glad I did because they exceeded my expectations!... This food was SO GOOD!! Loved the Food ... Service was good, nothing it if the ordinary... My gripe and reason for the 1-Star is - they don't tell you... they AUTOMATICALLY add a Gratuity to your bill. It is not listed on the menu anywhere! Yes, it's my fault for not checking,However, when I was handed the bill I always prefer to give the server a cash tip. Without looking at the bill I handed him $35on a $180 bill! Little did I know the restaurant automatically added a $28 gratuity!!! I have never been to a restaurant wherethey automatically add the tip to a bill for a party of just three patrons. That is absurd! What's more absurd, if the servertook my cash tip of $35 knowing the tip was already added to the bill, he was just not truthful. My wife brought this to myattention as we drove home. I cannot believe the server thought his service was worthy of a $63 tip! Because of this I willNEVER return to this restaurant again. If I wanted to spend that kind of money for a good dinner, there are two restaurantsacross the street that are worth of the cost I paid for last night's Panico's dinner. Lastly, in all honesty, this was mymistake for not looking at the bill. That said, I still believe the server should have mention the gratuity was already added tothe bill... We stopped in to make a reservation for later the same day. We were informed that we do not need a reservation. When we... arrived at 6:44pm, the place was completely empty. We were the ONLY 4 people in the place. It took us over an hour to finishour visit. The service was subpar. We were sat in the very back corner of a room. Perhaps that is why we were forgot about. At one point I got up to find our server Daisy. No employee was found for 7 minutes. The food was gross! It was reheated orsat around all day. I do not recommend Panico's Pizza. Visited this place while in New Brunswick for work. I am not a fan of red sauce of any kind for real or Pizza for that matter,... buuuuutttttt this Pizza was different, different to the point of needing a review. I have been to a loooot of pizza places in New Brunswick, and I think Panico's CHURCH STREET pizza is the best cheese pizza you... can get in New Brunswick IMO. I tried it two different times 6 months apart to see if the quality and taste was consistent andit was. Their Buffalo chicken pizza is also great but the works was not that good. If you are looking for a good plain pizza,that is very reasonably priced, don't look any further. However, I wouldn?t recommend this place for dining in. They have adecent happy hour menu as well. One of the best pizzas you can have in NewBrunswick. Along with pizza they have wide variety of things in their menu like pasta,... onion rings, burgers. Parking is little difficult to find around here. Happy hours will get you some good drinks at super cheapprice. Read more
