Today I tried Shrimp and Grits for my first time. I mean I am a southern girl so I have tasted then before. It's just not... something I've ever ordered. Week with the wait. They were fantastic! And their cheese curds I could make a meal of them!Delicious!! If you haven't tried The Outpost yet what are you waiting for? Get on over there and enjoy!! I wish I had takenpics of my burger! Hands down the best homemade/handmade cheeseburger I've had in years! Very tasty. Just yummy and juicy! Thefried green tomatoes were just like my mama used to make! We waited so long to be sat ?? yet we were patient and excited to try some tasty southern cooking .once sat we never were asked... for drinks or appetizers. It was like we were invisible. The young girl was tending to her table and the male waiter wascleaning off another empty table with a pizza riser on it. we thought surely to gosh he?s seen us and will get out drink ordersince he prioritized a 2-top with a single pizza riser ,no rag in hand to complete the task and no waiting customers in line fora table and ya ? know because he?s beside us . There were no customers waiting to be seated and a very small dining room ? myhusband and I sat amongst ourselves talked for awhile about our food choices and decided our entire order ; We even had enoughtime to go to the bathroom and learn the man diagonal from us name was jack ! We sat and sat , no one ever took our drink ordersso we just left . Place only holds maybe 13-15 tables ??? Why is service so unorganized and slow ?.needs better training.Otherwise the restaurant looked super cool with great menu prices and lots of choices ! Food around us looked great !
