This place used to be so amazing. Under new management for the past few years and I've been disappointed almost every time I go... here. I'm trying to give them a chance but between the quality of the food and the increased prices ( which I can Deal withbecause everywhere prices are increasing), and the lack of attentive service. I'm extremely dissatisfied with Pizza Pal. I haveloved this place for over 14 years but now I can't say the same. The only thing that still has good quality is the pizza. Othermenu items aren't as good as before and they seem to always mess up or forget something. Like I've said, I've tried with the newowner but I think I'm done. If I order a salad, I pay over $15 to get to my destination without silverware or saladdressing....only napkins. What am I supposed to eat a dry salad with my bare hands??!!. Okay......honest mistake but I noticedwhen you add items or want extra sauce or something, they charge extra (which is typical) but the forget it with the order. Orhow bout you order a two sided pizza , half and half and they put the ingredients that u specified on the wrong side after youconfirm and have them report the order back. The prices are always different over the phone than when u actually pick up yourorder. These guys are crook.if they can jipp u, they will and they never accommodate for any inconvenience. Watch this place,and always pay attention to what u order and always confirm a price while initially placing an order. Better yet, just go toMax's, peppinoes, Town and country or Adinas. There are sooooo many other pizza restaurants in New Britain that offer a better experience. MARATHON is the best in New Britain. Or try The Avenue or Bill's in Berlin, jus 3 min away from this trashof a restaurant called Pizza Pal. Amazing food! My 12yr old an I were so hungry coming from his Baseball Game, we called in a Meatball Grinder, I told him I... hadn't gone in awhile. We both agree it was the best around. I had asked someone about a decent pizza place that delivers and was told Pizza Pal. To be honest I wasn?t so sure about it... simply because of the name and I?m happy to say that I WASN?T disappointed. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that was the bestburger I?ve had in my life! Tried a new pizza place today. Pizza Pal had very large portions for the money. Everything tasted great. The food was fresh,... and the pizza was cooked just the way I liked it. The meatballs are the size of bowling balls. I would definitely go back hereagain. Thanks Pizza Pal for a great experience. Read more
Everyone wearing their masks appropriately which is an extra plus for us. They were very friendly and very helpful. When I got... the pizza it was a good size it was heavy with a ton of toppings they are great as far as fresh and plenty. A lot of otherplaces are not giving appropriate portions since this covid scare. It's nice to see when this restaurant isn't doing that. Youget what you pay for which is a nice difference. I will definitely go back the only and only and remember the ONLY issue wasthat the middle of the pizza was soggy but it could be because pepperoni, sausage, and green peppers and bacon could be theissue w that. Have ordered from here for many years, actually decades. However, much recently in the last couple of years, I noticed they've... been cutting corners perhaps to save a dollar or two and I'm sure it's a residual effect of the pandemic, but simple things likepepperoni pizza have about 2 pepperonis per slice.
