I came to The Bru House because I wanted to support a local business, but I don?t see myself visiting this coffee shop... again. It?s a beautiful little place, but the environment did not feel welcoming. While I waited close to 10 minutes, I wasnever greeted and the barista and/or server did not even made eye contact with me, as if my presence made them feeluncomfortable. Cozy little place to meet for business meetings or get a little work done. The service is great, the food is decent, and let?s... face it, these local places are better than any national chain. The only problem is the coffee quality was pretty poor. I tried2 cups?both the light roast and the dark roast. Both were pretty tough to stomach. I would hope that a local shop like thiswould invest in higher quality coffee beans. I hope they do well. I will return. Read more
