Hildar fantasy football draft here today. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Plenty of parking in the area. Inside and... outside seating with multiple large screen TVs all the way around the walls inside. Outside their TVs underneath the canopies.Surely you'll find what you're looking for at one of the TVs there. Good selection of food and drinks. I had breaded chickenwings with a cup of mild barbecue and a cup of Big Red barbecue sauce. Wings were very well cooked had a good taste to him evenwithout the sauce. This is a 21 and over location only. During all their business hours you have to be 21 or over. Thatdefinitely takes out the kids that would be running around and causing issues and playing games and making noise. Couple of myfriends have the tin can nachos I ate off those for a little bit. Incredibly slow customer service. Really good food though, i love the fried green tomato BLT and fried macaroni. *The review ... was updated to reflect their poor to-go policy. Don't bother calling in a to-go order, they'll refuse to take it. You have toorder and pay at the bar, before they'll make your food. Absolutely ridiculous that they claim they can't take cards over thephone. The review would be a four star if this changed. Read more
For lunch yesterday, we visited the @lucycoopersicehouse in New Braunfels. It was great to see the water nearby. Dad wore his... @lucycoopersicehouse shirt gifted by Hunter. We had the tasty Coca Cola BBQ wings which my husband ranks as Top 10 forjuiciness and flavor. We also had the Onion Rings basket and Ultimate Hawaiian pizza. Everything was so good and we hadleftovers. My husband had the Beer of the Week and I had the Strawberry Basil Lemonade. Gina did a great job serving us despitebeing the only server there. While we were waiting for the food, I had Dad try getting the ring onto the hook and he gotit!!!!! Many other games there to enjoy including the Ms. Pac Man! There's pool tables too! Read more
I visited some friends in New Braunfels and we had dinner at Lucy Cooper's Ice House. I loved the whole experience. Food was... delicious! Ambiance was fun. Service was amazing! We were able to converse without shouting at each other. McKenna, ourserver was super nice, helpful, and knowledgeable! She helped several of us with suggestions, and her suggestions were verymuch enjoyed. I had the Jucy Lucy burger, and fries. One of the better burgers I've eaten! I will definitely go back! Read more
The drinks are yummy but lack alcohol. It was like drinking delicious juice. The location is great and convenient, next to the... river so beautiful view. There?s out door games and fire pit, inside has TV, tables, chairs by fireplace and pool tables. Wewent there when it first open at 11am so service was decent considering it wasn?t busy yet. I can imagine how service could beslow during busy hours. I would love this to be my local watering hole but I?m not convinced yet. Let?s see how next visit goes. Read more
Great place if your not interested in eating or drinking. Waited an hour and still didn?t get a beer. I understand help issues... and blah blah. But this is ridiculous. Half the table get drinks and waitress disappeared. Come to our end to get drink orderand food order and missed half the table. If management can?t help her this place is doomed. Update: it?s been 40 minutes sincewe ordered food and nothing. Been here an hour and 40 minutes and all I?ve gotten is one beer. This place is notcrowded. Update: Hour 2. Great place to eat the tin can nachos where good, the leamon pepper wings where crunchy and sour. The mac and cheese sticks are... Nothing great but with the sauce they come with totally Changed them. The burger was good. I have to say best part was theservice very efficient and fast always kept our drinks full.
