Pleasantly surprised! My husband and I always order for delivery but decided to dine in, as soon as we walked in we were taken... care of, ordered our food and sat down, our soup was brought out shortly after and we enjoyed that for a bit, shortly after thatour food was brought out and the gentlemen was very respectful and helpful! I don't complain but when I do you know I'm annoyed. I've ordered several times from Happy Dragon & overall I'm good with what... they deliver but more often than not they forget sauces. In the meantime when you call to advise they do apologize & try to makeit right. However while you wait ypu what you can & the rest gets cold. So really what's the point on getting half your meal &an hour later getting the other half. Honestly it should have been a total refire on the food they didn't deliver correctly. I tried Happy Dragon for the simple fact that it?s 3min from my house. I heard mixed reviews about it, but decided to try for... ourselves. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thi with mushrooms and snow peas. egg rolls And my husband got shrimp lobster sauce combowith combo rice no complaints. Ended with a nice fortune ???? The restaurant is very modern and a large menu. The food was tasteless. I was really bummed out. I get that we are Texas, but... sometime you just want some good Chinese food. The rice wasn't the good stuff. It really needed salt. Luckily I got hot mustardand that can save most bland foods. It's too bad when Panda Express is fresher and more taste. Pretty disappointed with the food. General Tso chicken was chewy, fried rice was undercooked and the Chicken pad thai is missing... the tamarind flavor. It was just sweet and salty, the noodles were so stucked together even heating it up in microwave didn?thelp. The staff were super awesome though. Very respectful and gave great customer service. Chinese food from the mall tastes better than this. Cold Panda Express is way better than this. General tsos was super... disappointing. (Pictured) Lettuce wraps don?t have flavor. If you like bland food and disrespecting your taste buds you?d lovethis place. Read more
I had chicken lo mein and it was fresh fresh, like i made it! The steam dumplings were delish! Definitely coming back! You can... truly tell the food was fresh. The egg noodle for the lo mein was awesome! Read more
Staff was friendly and food was ready quickly but rice was undercooked, they forgot the sweet n sour sauce that I ordered... specifically for the fried rice entre and the sesame chicken was so chewy i couldn?t finish it. Place has potential but I planto keep looking for my go to take out Chinese spot in New Braunfels. Read more
