Reviews for Fork and Spoon in New Braunfels, TX
Not bad, very friendly and helpful staff. Very crowded. Came in for some breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict. The English muffin... was soggy. Wish they would have toasted it longer. The crep with the v as nillas sauce was way to thin out and cold. As aGerman I know the vanilla sauce must be thinker and very warm when served. They drenched it. So, I am glad I only took a halfportion. Read more
Wow this place is great. Very courteous staff, great quality of food, and quick service. We had the eggs Benedict and it was... absolutely awesome. There was a quick 10 minute wait time on a Saturday morning. Will be coming back again! Read more
I have heard about this place so much on MONBU that we decided to finally give it a try. We were not disappointed at all. My... hubby and I each had the Ranch Hand Breakfast and our son had the Fork and Spoon Plate. I didn't expect his pancakes to be thesize of the plate so we all shared them! Wait staff was very kind and attentive. We will make sure to come back again! Oh,bonus points, even though they were fairly busy, we didn't have to wait very long at all to get our meals! Read more
Stopped by for breakfast on a recommendation. Wife had the skillet with the bratwurst and I had the schnitzel and eggs. Both... were superb. The jager sauce on the skillet was the perfect addition. The schnitzel was a gorgeous golden brown, the breadingflaky and the hollandaise on top was a wonderful contrast. The potatoes were crispy, the coffee was hot, and the service wasimpeccable. Having just moved to this part of Texas we're actively searching for our new brefast spot. Fork and Spoon iscurrently sitting at the top of the list. We'll definitely be back! Read more
We arrived 10 after 8, were seated right away. They have limited seating so tried to put party of 5 at a booth with one person... on the end, I refuse to spend money to sit cramped up that way, they moved some tables together for us. The wait for our foodwas incredibly long, even our server was wondering about our food she commented. 3 cups of coffee later we were served cold foodat 9am. I don?t mind waiting for good food but I do mind waiting for mediocre at best and cold food. We ordered chicken friedchicken breakfast, the Jillian eggs Benedict, Omas breakfast with crepes, the fork and spoon breakfast and the chicken andpancakes. Entire Omas breakfast served cold, the crepes were swimming drowned in too runny of a sauce, potatoes for each of usthat got them came out cold. Benedict dry and bland with bland hollandaise and one of the eggs way over poached. Pancakes onchicken and pancakes were so under done server offered to have more made when she sat it at the table which she should?ve justdone rather than to even offer. Read more

Looks like this place is always busy therefore i had high expectations and i do have a sweet tooth and from what i read they are... known for their bread and paistries. The food we ordered was pretty good specially the omlet, i like the way they cooked theeggs and the potatoes weren't super greasy. I was disappointed with the pancakes, the crapes and the bisquettes though, not thebest. Our server was nice and attentive. We waited about 20 min. To be seated which is something i don't mind doing if it'sworth the wait. I think i might give it another chance some time. Read more
I had the Mediterranean skillet and it was really outstanding. Super flavorful and rich with the garlic sauce and egg yolks... coating the rest of the ingredients. The standard breakfast faire of pancakes, eggs and bacon were also good. Read more
