So sadly this time we had some problems with our food. We ordered sushi without any spiciness and it came with wasabi in it.... Then one of our orders was supposed to be medium and it came out well done. Server was EXELLENT. Great service from the young man. The food took a long time. We watched 4 tables order, eat, and then leave... before our food came. The last of our order came out after 2 of us had finished eating. Make sure you pay attention to what youorder v/s what is served. Sanuki is a fantastic venue! I went there for lunch with a friend and enjoyed hibachi vegetables with extra vegetables, he... ordered the hibachi filet. Portions were plentiful (we both took home boxes) and it came with soup or salad! Prices are veryreasonable. We picked Sanuki after going through some of the ratings and it was nearby. The food was NOT disappointing at all! The sushi... was fresh and delicious. Well put together and the tuna roll was really good as well. We had the shrimp & vegetable tempura allof which were perfectly fried and lightly breaded. My wife had the chicken udon and raved about it. My order came with misosoup and a side salad and I opted for the ginger dressing. These are the average of the meal. They were both fresh with the souphot and salad cool and crisp. The real struggle was with our server. He was clearly new and was trying, so I'm not going tobeat him. I rate it 4 stars because nothing really stood out to me. With that being said the food was good and the waiter was kind and... helpful. I had hibachi chicken and shrimp with a Philadelphia roll and eel roll. The place needs updates but would stillrecommend. Read more
